Bought a car in September 2015,collected it and drove it home. On the way home, my oil pressue light came on and checked the oil and there was hardly a drop in it. Who sells a car with no oil? Luckily I was near a service station and put in a full litre and bought a spare in case there was a leak somewhere (there wasn't thankfully).

In the first month of ownership, the car has been in the garage 4 times with a total sum of £996 in garage bills. Unacceptable. When trying to contact the dealer, I was ignored.

I have tried to contact them to resolve this but have had no contact in weeks, despite calling, texts and emails. These faults were clearly existing and under the sale of goods act, I am entitled to compensation or full refund. After seeking advice from citizens advice, I sent the person I dealt with a letter which was refused via recorded devliery. This was refused and sent back to me.

Avoid this dealership like the plague, dishonest, disorganised and disgusting way to run a business.

I do not trust sellers, I am not the easiest person to convince, especially when it comes to money and I am from the annoying buyers who want to know everything about the purchase without any guarantee that I will actually buy. However, I have nothing, but praise to express about Autopointhalifax. The car I bought from them was my first car bought over the internet, so I took a huge risk. All car details that Norman calmly and lengthily explained to me over the phone and email turned out to be the truth. I paid and the car was in front of my house the next day, although the dealership is 120 miles away from me. I took it straight away to service it and did all the extensive checks. Turns out this might be the best car I ever bought! Highly recommending Autopointhalifax, there are good and honest car salesmen out there and Autopointhalifax are definitely one of them.
