Never ever go with them. My luggage has been lost since 6th of October. I Could not claim for Travel Insurance after providing lost report form and Bank statement as don’t have RECEIPTS. The agreement does not says anything about receipts but only DOCUMENTS.. I tryed to complain but I got the same silly answer after more than a month! Good value and good customer service

Very equitable pricing and fine service. I called the call center in Russia, but was talking to me in English quite well. Was only slightly drawback by lack of communication about the finalization of the claim. Once this was drawn to the attention of the company, I immediately received confirmation from Zurich that the invoice had been paid and completed.

We had chosen the Zurich Travel Gold Insurance package, back in December 2013 to be protected against unforeseen losses, damages, missed flights and so on…We NEVER should.

My wife was on a family visit to Denmark, leaving Dubai 15th of January, late arrival in Hamburg, connection flight to Copenhagen managed, but luggage delayed 29 hours…to avoid unnecessary expenses she borrowed clothes and much more from friends and family. Zurich Travel Insurance normally covers USD 50 per hour after 4 hours delay…so we expected a kind of compensation,of course not USD 50 per hour delay, but something as a kind of acknowledgement for the inconvenience…forget it, she should have bought clothes and necessary stuff for USD 1200, which is the amount covered.

Unfortunately the trouble didn’t stop here…on the inbound trip, the flight from Copenhagen to Hamburg was delayed by 1 hour and 50 minutes…resulting in, she didn’t manage the connection flight to Dubai. We are insured, we thought, BUT NO, Zurich Travel Insurance demands a minimum transit time between connection flights of THREE HOURS!!!!… who is so stupid to book connection flights with a THREE HOURS waiting time, if flights with less and reasonable waiting time (here 1 hour and 40 minutes) are available???

A new ticked at 528 Euros, a night at the hotel at 99 Euros…NO COVER at all !!!

We have several insurances with Zurich and were convinced, that we are in good hands and Zurich is a reliable Insurance company…we changed mind…we are now forced to read the conditions of each single insurance (+ 80 pages each) with them…and we’ll probably cancel ALL of them.

There is many providers on the market…make your choice…but STAY AWAY FROM ZURICH INSURANCES….the credibility of Swiss companies is not what it has been…
