HSBC Home Insurance

Just had the misfortune to have to contact HSBC home insurance following the death of my father. They had no compassion simply tried to sell me an unsuitable policy for his empty property. When I rang to confirm I did not want this policy they refused to cancel it unless I paid an outstanding amount my father had not paid because he had died. My solicitor had assured me that outstanding bills are payable from my fathers estate and me personally HSBC insurance refused to accept this and said the policy would continue and I would carry on being charge until I paid. HSBC home insurance have made a distressing time that little bit worse.
