A few minutes after paying for a new house contents policy I found there was not a phone contact as stated elsewhere in their literature. Finding the 'chat' was a nigthmare. I decided to cancel immediately. The policy was not due to commence for several days. When I eventually got access to the illusive chat service the agent refused to cancel until 30 mins into the 'chat'. I was then informed they would retain £49.99 cancellation fee. If they can charge £49.99 for a policy that hasn't even started what would they charge aferwards??
