Yodel - no parcel, no responsibility, no resolution

Yodel are the worst. A parcel sent to me was delivered to the wrong address. I raised an enquiry about this, and using the app, I supplied a photograph showing the delivery went to someone else. Yodel replied saying they'd look into it. Few days later they wrote 'The depot has confirmed that the item was successfully delivered to you on ****, and the matter is now considered resolved'. Yodel's own photo, however, shows the parcel was wrongly delivered, so the company are blatantly lying to me. When I tried to query this using the webchat function, the assistant kept insisting I contact the sender. As the problem arises from the delivery, not be sending, Yodel are making no effort to solve a problem they created.

Delivery company

Parcel was showing out for delivery. I had live video recordings and screenshots from 1 parcel before me to delivered status and nobody showing at my door.

This is a criminal matter now.

Delivery attempt

For the second time a parcel, that was supposed to be delivered, got delivery attempt status.

I have a video doorbell recordings motion activated camera, hence I am able to prove those claims are fake.

Several times yodel have had parcels for me and always send me an e mail saying my parcel is out for delivery. Not once have my parcels arrived when they say and the latest one was due Saturday, guess what - didn’t arrive, then was due to arrive Sunday and guess what - no it didn’t arrive again . If you ask the drivers why it’s late they walk away shouting “ complain then mate “ very rude and a poor company for delivering anything. Forget about calling it’s an automated response . Delivered to the wrong place

Worst deliver I've ever had. My parcel was delivered to a wrong building that's 45 meters away. It was not even delivered inside that building but was left outside where many people were passing by. Because of that, I had to walk around to locate the building - which was really hard to do because the "image" of proof of delivery only shows the wall brick and the floor :) so I had to walk to several different buildings to search for my parcel like an idiot. Mind you, the names of the 2 buildings are not even similar, one starts with R and one starts with M. Absolutely the worst, would never recommend.

Missing delivery.

I'd give them 0 rating if I could. They ignored my three attempts at changing the delivery date. Left the parcel with my neighbour. Which I said not to do. Took a photo of two boxes. Took one back saying we have cancelled the order. We had not. Now I'm left chasing everyone for my missing parcel.

They're not even attempting to deliver items

They frequently deliver packages late and their customer service does not help at all. Even today, I stayed all day at home just for the delivery but my package has not been delivered yet and it's over 2h past their delivery window. On their tracking I can see the driver hasn't moved for 3h now. The driver clearly decided to just stop working and not complete their delivery route. When this happened in the past they returned the package back to the depot so I'm certain they will do the same this time too. It's not a one time occurrence, it's a pattern. In the past they also delivered damaged items. I will be raising a complaint with the retailer about Yodel and I will continue doing so every time there is an issue with Yodel delivery. I just can't wait at home every day until Yodel is in the mood to deliver packages. I won't be home tomorrow when they will claim to deliver the item. I waited all day today already for them. There wouldn't be a need to write negative reviews or raise complaints if Yodel's customer service was helpful but they just say "wait" when I know the driver won't deliver the package. Just contact the driver, find out what's happening. If the driver is not moving, they're able to answer the phone. Honestly, most of their customer service people don't even fully read my messages and give out of context replies. I told them the driver missed the delivery window, they proceed with telling me that the item will be delivered within the deliver window.

The worst courier service in the UK is Yodel!

The worst courier service in the UK is Yodel! After Yodel notified me that they had received my package from the seller, I did not receive any news about the package for three weeks. The tracking did not move. I looked for Yodel, they directed me to InPost, I looked for InPost, they sent me to Yodel. After many chats and exchanges of messages, the message came in the big week that my package had arrived at the InPost locker. However, there was only ONE TORN, EMPTY bag in the locker. How stupid can the courier be to put a torn and empty bag in the locker??? I reported this immediately to InPost with photos, but they said that they could do nothing, I should contact the seller with the problem.

For 2 days I've not had my delivery saying my house number wasn't supplied but I gave them the number on the live chat I was watching the app and contacted them immediately asked if they could contact the driver was told he couldn't do that I took a day off work on Friday for a delivery that didn't come and its still not here
