The Worst.

First of all, they call/email me in the morning of the delivery date to print off the paper work.

Second, the collectors never came. When I called them to update me, the woman on the phone incompetently stated that they should be arriving at 6 o clock in the evening. I call/email again, but no one responds.

Third, I called again today to see what is going on and the guy on the phone told me that I made a double booking, which I never did. He stated that I made a booking for 1-4 PM and another one at 6 PM. Clearly, the incompetent worker that I spoke to previously made another booking and simply stating that the collectors should be coming before 6.

Absolutely horrible service, seems like a sham organization. I paid 77£.

Best Ever

This is my first review in my life. I really feel Carry My Laggage deserves my time.

I send parcels a lot as having family in many places, first time with this company.

They where with me to the time I booked my luggage to the point of pick up by courier, they where respectful and helpful

My package reached on exact date I was informed.

Will recommend and will use again.

Carry My Luggage Disappointed

Very disappointed.Poor communication. Had to make many phone calls which caused me so much stress. Not open on a Saturday which caused problems as the ship docked back into Port on a Saturday,leaves the same day,need to have my luggage off. As I am not on the internet had to rely on friends to track my luggage as this firm told me that they could not track it for me as they did not have the correct equipment! Would not use them again too stressful.

Not Professional Or Reputable

I have concerns about the legitimacy of this company.

It took three days, two email chasers and a phone call to get a booking confirmation sent to me after paying £88.00 to have two bags collected and delivered to Manchester.

I paid an additional £10 to have the cases arrive by 10.30am - they arrived at 4pm. I contacted CML on the delivery day to request a refund of the £10 - some three weeks later this has still not been actioned.

A week later after delivery I had an email from CML saying that there was an additional £25 charge to be paid, and that they had been trying to contact me on the phone. To date - I have still not had a phone call from CML!!!! I then raised the £10 issue, and was told that they would just make the final payment £15 - still they have not contacted me further about this / payment. I do not trust that the additional charges are legitimate and I would warn people not to use this company.

Very disappointed with the whole experience.

Extremely Disappointing

Have used similar service for the same student address many times.

Incompetent driver was unable to find my flat, did not think to call me or contact security and then the company office had the cheek to call me to charge for redelivery. Please do not use this company, it really isn't worth the hassle and the people at the office act as if they don't care about the customer at all.

Very Good Service.

I have just returned from a two week holiday to Cornwall and decided to send my case through carry my luggage rather than hump it on and off trains and buses. It was collected within the time stated and then delivered early the next day to my destination. On returning home, again the luggage was collected early in the day and delivered to my home early so we were not sat around all day waiting for it. I was very pleased with the service and will definately use the service again.

I booked carry my luggage.com to collect from my Sons university a holdall a surfboard (Fully packaged in its travel case ) as well as a snowboard again fully packaged in its travel case collection was swift

After numerous calls to carry my luggage the goods which were supposed to be delivered on the Friday did not arrive until the following Tuesday ! by which time my Sons holiday flight had departed minus his equipment upon inspection the surfboard had pressure dents on the top as well as cracks on the nose all had been made during transit 2 telephone calls to an answering system and 3 emails later to carry my luggage still no response to my complaint about damage .

A refund was made into my account for the courier costs together with an email confirming the refund from carry my luggage no response to my complaint

A telephone call I made today answered by the MD left me speechless as we discussed the damage he rather flippantly remarked the board could be fixed easily & damage was not extensive !!!!! As a surfer himself he should realise any cracks or damaged even if repaired affects the re sale value of a board .Not impressed with either the service the communication or the overall attitude of this company in future I will deal direct with a courier company as carry my luggage uses 2nd and 3rd parties to courier its orders once they have completed the paperwork any taken payment they are merely a tracking service "They don't state this on their website"

Carriage Of Luggage To Falmouth & Return.

My wife & I where travelling by rail from Horsham to our hotel in Falmouth on the morning of 4/7/13 & seeing as we had two large suitcases decided to use the services of cml.especially as we had two changes to make & luggage storage facilities on so called modern trains leave much to be desired! I booked a pickup time of between 12.00 & 16.00hrs.At about 16.00hrs.I received a call from someone who I suppose was one of their dispatchers enquireing if our cases had been picked up yet.I replied in the negative & he said he'd have them picked up asap.Just over an hour later I phoned & told him my cases still awaited & I said I did'nt care when they where picked up as long as I had a next day delivery to my hotel,this he assured me.The cases where picked up at 17.40hrs & arrived at my hotel next morning.I received a call before we left at about 0930hrs telling me the name of the receptionist who had signed our luggage in.All in all a first class service & that includes the return which was just as glich free.I will be using them again in September & hope my feedback is as positive!

I Am Giving Them 2 Stars Because Of The Actual Com

I am giving them 2 stars because of the actual company they used to transport my luggage from Edinburgh to London - InterlinkExpress.

The pickup guy was rude, surprised that I had 5 items that wighted around 20kg each. He really seemed quite annoyed at this so in the end I was carrying the stuff from my flat to his van.

I payed for the Next Day Priority Service. I had 5 items in total.

3 arrived the next day by 10.30am , one of the boxes completely destroyed and in pieces (the packaging).

One was said to be delivered by 1pm (still waiting) and one was missing because they lost the label on it?!

The Carrymyluggage customer service guy is nice and helpful, but it is a shame that they use such an incompetent delivery service as InterlinkExpress.

Will never use them again, i'm affraid.

A Complete Debacle

One star for receiving my bags from the London based courier which I think was DHL. One star to the French TNT who received my bags and got them to London.

Carry My Luggage being the middle man and not the actual couriers is where this all went so wrong. I ordered and paid 10 days prior and still the order was apparently dispatched by the UK side the morning of collection. I was in a tiny town 50 minutes from Avignon so it would make sense to me to send the order through with at least 3 days or even 48 hours notice. Then no weekend service plus it was Friday morning, so panic set in. I was travelling alone with 3 small children and could not have physically managed these bags so could not cancel my order.

3 adults, 4 children and 2 cars and the last day of our (expensive) holiday was spent in a state of stress and worry in the hire car driving 50 minutes to Sorgues TNT and back to ensure the bags were delivered.

I received £32 'goodwill' refund for this.

The worst bit was the UK people constantly blaming the French, saying the problem was the 'French being French'. Appalling.
