Dishonest To Customers
Went into Wexford store and the guy convinced me to sign up for 20euro pay as you go deal. I was informed that it would cost more than 20 in my first bill but after that Only 20 will will be taken out of my bank account, yet 25 euro has been taken out each month and when i said it to the guy in shop he said it was vat charges , honestly think it's just bad customer service not to disclose all the charges and lie to your customers. Wanted to cancel my contract and i couldn't do it in store i have to call about it . Really think you guys need to improve your customer service . I will be canceling contract and switching my service provider and so will a number of my friends and family .

Non existent customer support.I spent 3 hours today onot a Web chat about why my phone would not make or receive calls ,I was given so many crazy fixes .Don't waste your energy.Network coverage is good, nothing else about this company is any good...

A number of times in the last couple of months data add ons and credit could not be added to my account leaving me exposed and unable to do my job. Customer service are inept and uncontactable. AVOID.

Terrible Coverage And Prices
We moved to Ireland a few month ago, unfortunatly the house we are renting can't get broadband service. As a result we purchased a mobile device to get satellite internet from Meteor. We are living around Waterford and the signal is absolutly terrible, untimely cutting count at least a cut every hour. The worst about our contract is the price (for this quality and quantity of internet) hang in there 30 gb a month for 25 €, 30 freaking gb a month, who the hell in the 21st century use such a low amount of data ! I have been living in several different countries but never met such a bad deal, you can't download ANYTHING, you can't load any video forget youtube, skype, online gaming... This kind of contract is an absolute disgrace, I'ld never ever recommend Meteor to anybody, neither would I recommend Vodafone. Satellite internet is a total rip off for a dreadful service. Do not ever consider it.

Rude Meteor Staff
Staff and very rude and unhelpful in meteor store in crescent shopping centre limerick. They are usually dismissive and on occasion a staff member rolled her eyes at me And said she could do nothing About fixing my complaint. Had to ring customer care 4 times only to be told the problem could only be fixed in shop. Went to the shop twice more and staff were unhelpful again. Made complaint to manager today over the phone about staff. Her solution is to call back into the shop AGAIN!!! I Don't hold out much hope !!!

I Made A Upgrade In Store, Before I Spoke To Some
I made a upgrade in store, before i spoke to someone bynthe phone and they promise i will get 20% of descont!
When i had everithing done they in store sayd i wont have 20% cos i should do it i only online!!!
Ring back again to one woman in meteor and she ask me to bring the fone back and they will send another phone with a new contract! Ok... I went to store and they dont take the phone back!
Ring back to meteor AGAIN! Now i cant find the person I dealt with, and now they say a different story! I cant do anything and they dont give my 20% descont!!!!
That is ehat they are! Dont trust in meteor! Is not a good company!!!!

Bad Customer Service
Have been with meteor for over 8 months as bill customer , didn't have any issues with their services , however my phone ( nokia 925 ) that I got from them that is still under warranty had an issue with an lcd - phone would power on , but the screen would stay black. Went back to the meteor store I got it from , and handled my phone in to be repaired. Got it back after about 2 weeks with a new screen fitted. Repair covered under warranty , happy days...After about few days have noticed that the top right corner of the screen has come away slightly from the housing. Phone was working perfect otherwise and I didn't really pay to much attention to it. With time , about 4 - 5 months later the whole top of the screen started to come away...Went back into store and explant all, left it be repaired. After about 2 days got a call back from the store and was told due to physical damage to the phone the repair could not be covered under warranty - cost of repair 155 EURO ! I have asked them to supply more detailed report on what is actually damaged on lcd at top that they class as physical damage. And now its been 3 weeks , numerous phone calls & emails to customer care I am still no further... My phone is still in the repair centre , I do not understand what should I be paying money for as it is clearly manufactures defect - or the consequences of unsuccessful previous repair. I have done my research - the only way the phone screen on nokia 925 is secured to the housing is by bonding - no screws , no brackets , no clips. Meteor customer care has advised me Meteor customer do get in touch with the repair centre direct?! to get a detailed report , me Meteor customer - that signed contract with meteor and not with 3rd party that is repairing the phone. Even after doing that I got replay from the repair centre that they are in no position to discuss anything with me as the phone was sent in for the repair by Meteor store and I will quote - " The store are fully aided to look into any query for you and should it require an escalation they have escalation processes in which they can follow & update you ".
That only proves the fact that whoever I am dealing with in customer care and meteor store direct didn't even bother to submit appropriate request to obtain the information I require.
Once again I have say that I never in my life have met such Ignorant response to a paying customers enquiry from service provider.

Rip Off Meteor
customer of meteor 1 year. bill pay 49€ monthly bill.once id say I was charged 49€ all other times over 60/70/80/90/100/190. another 12 months on my contract and feel sick to my stomach I cant leave because they wont release my number and pay a big fee, I just set up a small business last year and my number is the most important thing about this shity contract. When signing up I was convinced by the sales person the coverage was great, dont have 2g never mind 3g.well advice stay far away from meteor, any good reports u see is probly wrote up by meteor themselves.

Worst Service Provider I Have Ever Encountered
If you are thinking of signing up with Meteor... don't! For years, I was a pay-as-you go customer with Meteor and I found everything fine, cheap enough deals, reasonably good reception nationwide.
However, I switched over to bill pay with them a year and a half ago and it was the worst decision I ever made. Firstly, there has been 6 problems with bills since April 2013 (usually with them taking too much). Trying to deal with their customer service is an absolute joke! They are the worst trained customer service team I have ever had the displeasure of speaking to! I have been hung up on and even had a man scream down the phone at me, reducing me to tears. I have given up completely on Meteor and have moved to 02 and the move was definitely worth it. 02 actually value their customers.. Meteor could do with taking a leaf out of their book!

I have been with Meteor over 3 years and I have had problems since day 1. I started the highest plan contract in 2011, which was €85 per month, at least until I got my bill and I was being charged an average of €120 each month. I then got an upgrade 2 years later on the highest plan again - which was still €85. A week after I started the new contract Meteor reduced this plan to €49 a month and would not allow me to reduce my bill. I also have the smart mini contract which is €30 per month. I started this plan in November 2013 with an iPhone. 3 days after using the iPhone it broke. I brought it back to Meteor and none of the staff knew what they were talking about. They would not take the phone back and send it back to Apple to be replaced. After I finally got in touch with the Meteor headquarters it was nearly one month after I purchased the phone. I could not use my phone and I had asked on several occasions to put the bill on hold while my iPhone was being sent away. I recieved a temporary phone and replacement SIM card and when my iPhone came back I had to have my number changed back to onto a micro SIM. After 7 unsuccessful tries, the staff in my local Metero store could not port the number back over. The staff seem to be very clueless about their job and don't seem to receive training. The Meteor customer service is also very poor. I recently left Meteor, and it was the best thing I ever did, I was out of contract and confirmed with Meteor before I changed network. As I was still in contract with my Smart Mini plan I recieved my bill for the month to find it was €100 when it should have been €30. I rang Meteor and not one person could explain what the additional charge was for. Finally one person in Meteor came to the conclusion that I had still to pay for the my other number as I has not been out of contract, even though they confirmed it in person and I payed my remaining bill up front in the store. Over all I think people in a Meteor are not helpful, not knowledgeable about their work as I knew exactly what the problem was and a store of 10 Meteor employees could not help at all. Meteor have been recieving over €200 a month of my family and they did not seem bothered when I told them I was going to change network. Instead they were rather rude and said 'Well that will be hard since you are still in contract'. As soon as I can I will be leaving Meteor completely and will never look back, since all I had with Meteor was problems.
