A plumber measured our home’s water pressure and recommended the correct size of combi boiler to suit the water flow rate and house size. The old system was removed and the WB boiler fitted in a couple of days leaving a more efficient quieter system. The only involvement we have with the boiler is to turn a tap on or change room temperature using the wireless thermostat (made by Salus; I recommend that too).
Three months after the installation, we received a letter from our gas supplier cutting our bill as we are using less gas so in credit with them.

This Boiler is good on heating but saying that the hot water side is not.
We have a DT20 Prog with this boiler yor have 3 on/off heat setting
per day which work fine..
you have the same setting with hot water but there dont work Why. i think i know why you have got a keep hot facility in the boier to give you instantly hot water
if this warm you would not fire up as in prog..
Had 4 parts on my boiler due to this.

HI AGAIN THE BOILER ONLY FIRES UP WHEN USING HOT WATER TAP. I DON'T THINK THE FUNCTION FOR THE BOILER TO FIRE UP EVERY 20 OR 30 MIN IS WORKING. THE ONLY TIMES HERD THIS COME ON 3 OR MORE HOURS.

Hi Joe, I fit a number of 30si,s and I may be able to help. We don't usually fit the dt20 but my understanding is its the same function as the Eco but timed. The boiler has a function to keep a loop of water hot within itself so when you open a hot tap it can heat the watertowater heat exchanger instantly. With this function enabled the boiler fires every 20 to 30 mins when not in use for a few seconds but this can be annoying if fitted in a bedroom etc.. The Eco function disables this heating cycle but means water takes about 10seconds longer when first used. I think your timer enables the function when its on and disables it when off eg. At night. If you have along delay for hot water it's usually because the boiler is along way from the outlets or you still have 22mm pipe work for hot water so you have to displace a lot of water before the heated water arrives.
