Do Not Buy This Boiler
Hi We are now on out second of these boilers. The first lasted 4 years and the replacement has now gone after 5 years. The fault is the same in both cases. Forget about looking for help. Just throw the entire system out and get something else that works.

I Had A New Vokera Mynute 35he Condensing Boiler F
I had a new Vokera Mynute 35HE Condensing boiler fitted in 2006 to replace an existing old style boiler. It was recommended by the plumber (I think because he was on a promotional kick-back!). It has broken down 4 or 5 times since with inconsistent issues such as gas valve, leaking joints causing PCB to fail, gas pressure sensor, flame sensor. One water leak caused £1000 of damage to a wood floor. When it works it's great but last winter we had no HW or CH for 2 weeks during -10C outside. It took over a week to get an engineer from D&G insurers as they were all maxxed out, he arrived told me what was wrong and said he would be back with the spare part a week later. Instead I drove 2 miles to the spares centre, bought the spare part and fitted it myself even tho' I had to pay £20 for the sensor. Poor reliability and poor after sales service, a no-no and I am now after 5 years going to replace it with a boiler with 5 star reliability and a 5 year warranty, any recommendations anyone?
Ditto. My 35HE, fitted in 2008, leaked and ruined the floor. Volkera replaced a number of parts, on more that one visit, up to 2102. It had been okay since then, until now. It's started leaking and Scottish Power who service and cover it for breakdown have now stated it's uneconomical to repair. They claim it will cost £683.00. So now I have a leaking boiler and service coverage which won't repair it because it's too expensive!!
