Potterton Gold 24 HE

I bought a Potterton boiler because of their reputation, however the build quality is not what it used to be.

My boiler is two years old and has broken down far too many times, I am waiting until spring to have it removed and replaced with a more reliable boiler.

I like the compactness of the boiler, but the build quality is very poor and the fault codes are useless.

Yes, we've only had this installed for a few weeks now but the difference between this boiler and our old boiler is amazing. It's hardly ever on! Heats up the thermal store in next to no time and then switches itself off. It seems very efficient. It's very quiet and just seems to do the job very well indeed. Of course, if it breaks down I won't be so glowing, but so far, very happy indeed. So much cheaper than some of the allegedly better brands too.
