"Engineer shower on a Saturday at 13:00 with a strong smell of alcohol. I did not bother much because one of my uncles used to drink a lot but was an excellent professional, but not this guy. He opened the boiler and identified the electrode as not working. Said he would order the part and it would arrive in 7 days. 7 days passed and he did not call. I tried to call the company and asked if the part had arrived, person on the phone said it had to be discussed with the engineer himself but he was not there. They said the engineer would call, which he never did. Called DSServe again, explained the situation, they said to me they could do nothing and i had to wait for the guy to call. Basically I feld that the guy was drunk and came to my flat that day so he could get some extra cash (£100) in hands so he could continue drinking. Every time I called the company there was a sense of arrogance buy the people answering the phone, they were not interested and fixing my problem, in tracking the engine to return and finish the job or send someone else. It was like a joke for them and they dd not care at all. Utterly disgraceful company, the lowest of the low.

Costs changed terms from phone discussion, website has no address, parts not carried.

PLEASE PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE NO PLUMBERS OR GAS ENGINEER OR PROFESSIONAL. THEY TOLD ME THEY CHARGE £75/30MINS. ON GETTING TO THE SITE, WITHIN 5MINS THEY SAID BOILER IS CONDEMNED. UNFORTUNATELY FOR THEM I AM AN ENGINEER AS WELL AND TOLD THEM TO EXPLAIN THE PROBLEM TO ME BUT THEY DIDN'T MAKE SENSE AND WAS ALL OVER THE PLACE. THEY THEN TURN AROUND AND SAID MY BILL IS £150 WHICH I REFUSED. I PAID THEM THE 30MINS CHARGE CONSIDERING THE FACT THEY DID NOTHING. A BRITISH GAS ENGINEER CAME OUT AND FIXED THE PROBLEM. NO BOILER REPLACEMENT.

THESE GUYS ARE ROGUES.

Do not ever use this company for any plumbing job. He goes by the names DS Plumbing or DS Serve. Charged me over £400 for a simple repair by adding in call out fees, VAT, and spare parts he didn't even use.

This miserable excuse for a human being will pretend he is the best plumber in town and then proceed to overcharge you in an expert fashion.

He has also refused to provide a receipt as he evades taxes.

He appeared on Rogue traders on 2012 but this hasn't stopped him from doing this.

I hired DS Serve to supply and fit replacement bath mixer tap in a rental property. The mixer tap they supplied was very low quality. Builders renovating a nearby property popped in a few days later to help my tenants fix the hot water flow pressure for this new mixer tap. Those builders commented that the mixer tap was such rubbish quality that it would probably need to be replaced in about 6 months. DS Serve charged me around £200 for the mixer tap - even though it was worth probably less than £30. It took two or three of their engineers more than 2 hours to replace one bath mixer tap.

Sure enough, just over 12 months later I did have to replace the mixer tap. I did not use DS Serve again.

I will never trust this company with any work ever again.

Firstly I wouldn't give them a star!!! They are the worse ever plumbing company. Horrible unhelpful staff who are rude and don't even remember doing a job previously.

I had to chase for a whole month for a invoice sending out at least 6 emails to remind them and not only that they didn't even invoice me the correct amount and charged over a 1,000 pounds for a small job. Absolutely a rip off service. Don't use them ever, all they do is take your money with awful service. Don't be fooled by their website either like I did. Will not recommend this company to anyone.

Took 6 weeks to do a half day job then hiked the price up by £1000 more than the original quote.

This is the Same man that was on rogue traders as drainsafe. Do not use
