Stay Clear Of Baxi Boilers
my husband and i are pensioners and decided while renovating our home to up grade our boiler. The boiler we had hadent broken but we wanted to make sure we were never left in the cold.
We had a plumber fit a new baxi boiler which totalled 2,500 pounds cash. This was in dec 2017.
On sataday we came home to a freezing cold house. We rang our plumber who said it was under warranty with baxi so we rang them at customer services.
We were told they would come out on thursday......thats 6 days later.
We have been left with NO heating or hot water till then.
If you value your health ...DO NOT TRUST BAXI WITH IT.
I wish we had checked into baxi before purchasing. We went on our plumbers recommendation. Having posted on another review site Ive read that Baxi has a poor record overall.
Freezing For 3 Days
our baxi megaflow is less than 5months old and it has suddenly stopped working. The fault code says it has faulty fan wiring. Contacted the heat team 3 days ago and we have been told that it will be tomorrow when they come to repair it under its' guarantee even though we have no other source of heat and the weather is very cold. We are disgusted.
hello.....we have the same problem. Fan broke on our new boiler saturday and weve no heating till thursday. customer service couldent care less. my husbands a pensioner and has been quite ill. Baxi are SHAMEFULL

After 2 Days Boiler Broke Down, Heateam Came And R
After 2 days boiler broke down, Heateam came and replaced the electronic control unit which had a known fault, Could this not have been sorted before supply.
After 12 months and still under heateam cover, Boiler broke down arranging a visit was frustrating, engineer came could not find fault boiler ran for a few days and broke down again. Same situation was repeated but they started to replace different bits no same engineer came. This went on for 2 months through the winter, One engineer even fitted a cover over the where the gas combusted and damaged the seal which was allowing gas to escape, again boiler went down, I complained and Complained to Baxi to no avail. I then switched service to British Gas who were brilliant but they stated that Baxi were not good.
On occasions now when igniting the boiler makes a loud bang, I am told by British Gas that this is not unusual
I am even told by a corgi fitter, Baxi are bad on reliability and back up. My advice DONT BUY ONE.
baxi are shamefull
