I googled, this site came up, I clicked through, and within one more click I found a fairly decent comparison of 457 Visa health insurance offers. I compared their prices to the prices on the actual website and they seemed to match perfectly, so when I went back 2 week later I felt confident clicking through to buy insurance. End result, I actually got more cover than I expected for a price I was happy to pay. I'd really recommend using these guys rather than trying to surf the web for every possible provider.

To move across to a 457 Visa in Australia I need health insurance so I searched Google and found 457VisaCompared. The biggest suspicion was that it was just a front for a health fund but actually they let me click through to a few different funds, so it all looks legit. Anyhow I signed up no problems and think I got a good deal. Definitely I'd say rather than going to each individual health insurer to get info you're better off using a comparison website and this is the best one I found online.

I am in the process of applying for a 457 visa to work in Australia. I have found the process of obtaining health insurance cover very confusing - lots of website with lots of info! 457 really helped a lot. Saved me research time on understanding rules and the step by step process of how to obtain a 457 visa and who to go to and what forms I would require and how long this would take etc. It also helped me with comparing private health insurance which led me to use a fund I had not heard of before but offered a lower price. Thank as well to Noam who responded to a query I submitted on the site about LAFA for 457 visa holders!

If you need 457 Visa to come into Australia, you have to get health cover. And this site makes it really easy to compare. They are honest about what is available and don't seem to promote and specific provider (I do notice that their top recommendation is IMAN or HIF but probably they're cheap). They actually let you click through the the provider rather than trying to sell you the actual product themselves, so my relationship is directly with the health cover company and I can call them directly. If you're coming to work in Australia this is one headache you don't need so I'd definitely recommend using them.

This site promises to compare the health plans required to get a 457 visa for Australia. I had reached the health insurance part of my 457 visa application and just wanted the cheapest one. I found this site and it showed me it straight away.

I would just like to put out a bit 'thank you' to Adir and the 457 visa website crew. Moving to Australia has been a hard things for me espeically when my migration agent screwed me around leading me to get my first request rejected. Since that occurted I found this site and sent through a few messaged via FB messages. Each time Adir from the site responded and gave recommendations and just this morning I got my visa approved. While I'm not recommending against getting a migration agent getting some extra advice from this site never hurts.

Look...I could have spent hours looking at all the websites to find the best insurance for my requirements. They all have so many details and really...can you pick one from another? i couldn't and quit frankly i have better things to do considering i am moving to a new country.
