Great instructor
My instructor was great. She was able to schedule lessons around my work hours, and tailored lessons to my weak points. I passed my test on the first try.
The AA system could be better - there was a £3 fee every time I topped up my account, which I had to do multiple times.

Recommended Instructor
I took driving lessons and had a positive experience. He was patient and explained things clearly, which helped me build confidence over time. The lessons were structured and covered everything I needed to prepare for the test. I appreciated his calm approach and focus on safety. I'd recommend him to others looking for a reliable instructor.

Passed first time!
He is an amazing instructor. I was quite nervous at the start, but he was very friendly, calm and clear with his instructions. Unlike some instructors I’ve experienced previously, he remembered exactly what stage I was at each lesson and was good at judging what I was ready for next. Because of this I never felt too pressured or stressed which really built my confidence.
I ended up passing first time with 1 minor!!

Best instructor
He is absolutely fantastic driving instructor! Always calm and reassuring, even when I was nervous or unsure. Their positive approach and clear guidance made every lesson enjoyable and productive. I felt fully prepared going into my test, and I’m so happy to say I passed first time! Couldn’t recommend them more – a brilliant teacher who genuinely cares about their students’ success.
Q&A
I am not happy with my instructor and would like to change it. Do you know a good AA instructor in South Ealing/Brentford?
If you check the website or phone them they will tell you who your nearest instructors are. You can book lessons online too and you will be offered a choice of time slots.
I'm considering taking up a franchise as an AA driving instructor. Reading through this thread there are a multitude of similar bad experiences, primarily relating to the conduct of the instructors'
I've also noticed that on a majority of these posts the AA have replied with comments which indicates to me a desire from them to improve and listen.
My question as a prospective 'Franchisee' is this:
Would you as a parent or student choose the AA Driving School as a preferred provider based on their reputation and how much would the ratings in this thread influence your decision to use them?
There are several companies out there that offer a franchise solution; RED being another popular one. I'd be interested to get some feedback on this so I could at least feel that I would be choosing the right organisation to train with.
At this point in time I'm inclined to choose the AA purely based on its long standing reputation and that any other schools (including RED) are likely to have both good and bad instructors too.
I would choose AA over Red. AA are far superior but Red are the most complained about and worst for customer service and quality. This is my personal experience of both.
Any tips about test centres between Cannock and Wednesbury? Which one is best place to take my test?
Can anyone give any details or advise on the south west London school?
Has anyone had a I instructor from Lichfield or Sutton Coldfield in West Midlands? Any bad experiences?
Ok thankz for your answer agusia78,its just I'm worried I had about 2 instructor pass they took my money without doing my practical test.
