Ilona Szancilo is amazing!

After having had lessons and failed my 1st attempt at my driving test (with an instructor that doesn't work for RED), it was important to me that I felt confident enough before taking my test for the 2nd time as I wanted to make sure I PASSED.

Having had ~16hrs together with my instructor Ilona Szancilo from RED, who taught me how to drive an automatic, I not only passed my exam with only 3 minor faults but feel confident in my driving skills like never before.

Ilona is one of the very few people I have come across that don't just do something for the sake of money but truly value what they do. Ilona is strict, because she won't let you "cut corners" or slack off during a lesson but she will make you repeat something (I.e. a specific route, manoeuvre, explanation, etc.) numerous times in order to ensure you fully understand everything and are confident in that.

During our lessons we did various different maneuvers, drove on various different routes and encountered a few situations, which were challenging but never once was I scarred because a) I knew Ilona had taught me well enough to know how to deal with something correctly and b) Ilona was always so attentive that nothing missed her eye.

I enjoy driving so so much now and can't wait to finally get my own car now that I've passed my exam because I feel confident in my driving skills and everything Ilona taught me, which is priceless.

If you're looking for a teacher that won't just teach you to drive well enough to pass the test, but seriously takes an interest and time in ensuring you become a GOOD AND CONFIDENT driver, go with Ilona because she's truly amazing at what she does and worth every penny you invest.
