Jayne Sorrell Driving

Jayne taught both my daughters to drive and pass their tests. As a driving instructor, my daughters said she had a calm and relaxed manner and they are now confident and careful drivers. From a parent's perspective, Jayne is friendly, understanding, approachable and very responsive when I needed her input and support on driving matters. We would recommend Jayne without hesitation. Jayne was so helpful and very patient when teaching me how to drive, she taught me everything I needed and wanted to know and helped me pass first time with no minors. Not only is Jayne the best driving instructor I could have asked for, she is also the nicest person ever. I thoroughly enjoyed my driving lessons with her and she made me feel really comfortable and confident in the car. Jayne was really flexible with how many lessons I wanted and when I was available to have them. Jayne didn’t just help when it came to learning to drive the car, she also prepared me really well for my test, what to expect, and which areas often caught people out. I took my test feeling confident in my ability and was over the moon when I passed first time! I definitely recommend Jayne as a driving instructor!

My son was super keen to learn to drive and booked his theory test on his 17th birthday. Jayne helped by sending him a link to revision and he got 49 out of 50 so passed with ease. First hurdle accomplished! Next followed his driving lessons. Jayne was great with him super calm and professional and set him homework so we could practice in between lessons. She’s is very reliable and flexible we set up a family what’s app to keep track of lessons and diary changes on our part. My son sat his test 5 weeks after his birthday and unfortunately failed first time but she handled the situation so well ( like a mum)checking in with him to make sure he was ok and recommending that he booked a retest as soon as possible. Two weeks later he passed with only one driver fault after 12 hours including both tests! Absolutely amazing he now has the freedom and confidence to drive to college in Leeds and travel around Yorkshire to play sport. Thank you Jayne

Jayne is such a great driving instructor, as well an amazing person, she was so calm and friendly in all of the lessons I had with her. she throughly taught me step by step on everything involved within driving a car, this allowed me to be more of a confident driver, without Jayne passing my test would have been so much harder, I would 100% recommend Jayne to anyone, her excellent professionalism along with a great personality will ensure that you will not only pass your driving test but also have enjoyable driving lessons.

Jayne was the most patient, calm, and positive person from start to finish. As a really anxious person she made me feel really comfortable and supported. I liked the fact she would tell me when I’d done something right, and never lost her temper if something went wrong. Lessons were never rushed we always had a main focus and I’d leave every lesson feeling like I’d improved. Even on my test day Jayne was really calm and made sure I felt ready for it. I would recommend Jayne to anyone wanting to learn and will miss my lessons a lot.

As daunting as driving lessons can be when you first start, I was quickly made to feel really comfortable and started to look forward to my weekly lessons! Cannot fault the teaching style - really clear explanations, a lot of patience and support. Really friendly driving instructor who wasn't too serious and took an interest in my life outside of lessons, which made driving lessons really enjoyable and relaxed. My instructor made sure I was well-prepared for my test and knew what to expect, whether it was talking me through the test structure or practicing the 'show me, tell me' questions with me. Each lesson had really clear objectives and it was easy to track my progress. I would highly recommend Jayne Sorrell Driving to anybody. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Not only is Jayne a wonderful person she is also a fabulous driving instructor. Making a the most comfortable environment to learn and inevitably make mistakes. Learning to drive was so much fun and, due to Jayne’s excellent teaching, not a long process. She has enabled me to feel confident and comfortable while in the road. Thanks to Jayne, I passed both theory and practical test first time. Truly the best instructor around!!
