Paid £3,500 for a login to a theory website. That's it.

I paid £3,500 and all I got is access to drivingtheory4all. Avoid this company!

I lost my job in July 2025 and decided after 6 months to retrain as a lorry driver. On 9 January 2026 I spoke with a senior recruiter at Easy As HGV, who promised me I could land my first job by early March 2026 if I'll pass the exams of course. A perfect plan — I still had some savings left. They had a promotion: £200 off if you pay in full. I paid £3,500 in two instalments. What did I get? Access to drivingtheory4all to study the theory on my own. That's it.

The first week, he called to check on me. It felt like they cared. After that? Silence. Nobody bothered to book my theory test. When I pushed, he gave me a phone number and told me to sort it out myself with his colleagues — a stark contrast to the warm attention of the first week, when they needed my money.

I managed to get my theory, CPC and hazard perception test booked for 10 February 2026. I passed CPC and hazard, but failed the theory. My fault. I rebooked for 4 March 2026 (24 miles away, but the earliest available date). Meanwhile, they scheduled my CPC Module 4 practical test for 18 March 2026.

On 4 March — I passed the theory! I had all the documents needed for practical lessons. I messaged him straight away, buzzing with excitement, to arrange driving lessons. He read the message and went silent. I called — no answer. Next morning — the same.

Eventually a woman called me back and said I need to wait a few days because they need to contact a driving school to see if they have availability. I also found out they only provide 24 hours of practice (6 days x 4 hours), even though the legal requirement is 35 hours.

I told them I have no savings left and desperately need my licence so I can work and bring money home. Nothing.

Today is 6 March 2026 — I have no access to practical lessons and no licence. I am gutted and heartbroken.

Avoid Easy As HGV. Save your money and your dignity.

Not Recommended At All, At All

At start I was happy because they told me that they’ll help me to find job and they guarantied, they even charged me for CPC that I could do it even within 5 years time. They didn’t give me CPC certificate and they didn’t help me to find job after all. I spent over 5,000 just for nothing. I call them 3 times a week and asking for their promises but there is no a good answer. I’m really tired to call

This is my experience and I advise Don’t spend your money here, They don’t have responsibility about their promises.try other companies, they even have £400 discount or more.

Huge Thanks To Amber/natasha "easy As Hgv"

I would like to thank “easy as hgv” staff mbr for the online training programme, plus booking and arranging all test dates, the online training helped me get through the online stuff ready for theory/hazard. (passed 1st time)

(you only get out what you put in)

Also the guy at WS training Markham Vale for the dedication and professionalism he’d shown for the practical, I cannot thank him and you guys who made it happen enough.

As you may have gathered, I have passed the class2 category test 25/2/23 without issues and a big smile on my face.

THANK YOU

Mr G J

Very Happy Customer

Easy as HGV have made my course easy to follow and partake. Everything was booked for me and followed up at every step to make sure I passed. Everything was efficient and passed in a few months from starting.

Bad Experience

I passed my tests, but not because of the school...

This was a bad experience for me,( I can compare it with class 2 tests, that was professional!!!!)

On the first day waited 30mins for the instructor in front of the "school", on the second day I had to drive to a completely different area for 1.5 hours one way(Harlow) and I had been told I have 1 hour of practice only...

Third day again different place we meet at the test center quick test and bye.

On the fourth day, 3 hours of driving and we agreed that we meet 1 hour before the test to practice. I didn't get a call, the instructor showed up at the test center and said wait here have to fill up the tank so no practice...Also, it was a different lorry from what I drove before, with warning lights on.

So overall I feel betrayed I paid lots of money and it was far from professional, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

(professional schools have the same rendezvous point always and the students drive to the practice places, showed up on time, the instructor analysis of their driving all the time, etc)

I'm sorry for the current and future students, don't sign any blank timesheets during the traffic!!!

Great Service

I had a great learning and driving experience. The instructor was super helpful and friendly. Pointed out any mistakes instantly and told you how to fix them on the spot. The instructor was always calm and never made you feel isolated or pressured. The start was good and had lots of help with the medical and theories. It really was made easy.

Would very much recommend!

Great Company

Great company and I recommend if you want to start a new career. They have a good helpful team who answer anything that’s needed. Once I passed my theory things did slow down a little but I did pass training first time. Looking forward to starting my new job with selco
