I contacted D2U in September to request a block booking of 10 lessons for Ion Bogoslov
who is my Business partner . Despite paying for the lessons it took a while for the instructor to make contact and arrange dates with Ion.

On the very first lesson - the instructor arrived late and was insisted thathe drove Ion for about 10 - 15 mins into the lesson. Eventualy they changed seats and Ion was given brief instructions and information. As lessons progressed his time keeping was questionable - still ensure Ion travelled in passenger seat for 10 mins before allowing him to drive the car. Often he terrninated the lesson early and again 9 times out of 10 insisted he drove Ion back to his house.
Steve's approach to teaching Ion was not impressive ,he showed no compassion or little sympathy to someone wanting to learn to drive. His communication skills were duly lacking and it seemed that encouraging Ion to have more lessons was more important than providing excellent teaching in the first place.

The test was booked for 23rd Jan as Ion had 40 lessons felt that he would be ready to take the test - the last lesson he had with him was on 12th Jan . Ion would admitt himself it wasn't the best lesson but again no real instruction given by him as to what Ion needed to improve on .The next lesson was confirmed for next week but on the evening of 12th Jan Ion received a text from him passing comment on Ion's abilities and said said he was not a safe driver and refused to go with him to the test.
This is so unacceptable that he is able to just abandom a learner driver a week or so before the test - surely this would have been something he should have discussed with Ion on the last lesson. The texts were rude and certainly not produced in a professional manner. I feel that he was only interested in earning money from the lessons and not taking a pride in his job he was employed to do.
He was a representive of D2U and should have ensured to be professional at all times
not choose to leave someone high and dry.
I appreciate you would probably advise that we should have booked with another company - but unfortunately they all seem to have been booked up for weeks.
So a decision was made to stay with the devil we knew in hope the service would have improved.

Very similar experience to mine. Shambolic springs to mind!
