I had a free trial with IPPatrol a few months back when I was having trouble with my email provider; I didn't sign up to their permanent service because I ditched the email address. I contacted them again to see if their software would help me identify an intermittent loss of Internet access problem that I've been having.
They were so, so helpful! Duncan emailed me back with lots of ideas about what it could be, he was really straight about how where their software could help (and didn't tell me it would do things it couldn't) and come back to me more than once to see if I needed any more help or advice - and I'm not even a customer!!
That's what I call service - I'm already recommending them to all my friends and contacts who are involved with running IT setups.
