AVOID - THE WORST NIGHTMARE EVER I bought a car and in the way home I started to have problem with the car. A light came up in the dashboard. They said that they will fix it, I just needed to drop the car off next day. Next morning the car didn't start, so he sent his mechanic and said that the car need a coil pack. Next day I took the car there and they fix it. But the light in the dashboar still on, so they kept the car. I was without my car 16 days and the couple of times that I could talk with them, they always gave me excuses that the car would be ready for the next couple of days). So I asked for a courtesy car. They said that they will give me one. And the problems came again with all kind of different stories like they couldn't insurance me, car they were gonna offer me has a engine problem, etc. etc. Well, when after 16 days I've got my car (withouth any courtesy car) on my way home the same light showed up in the dashboard. So definetly they were laughing on me. I came back next day and asked for a change of car (as I paid for an warranty extension I didn't want to loose that money too - Big mistake). I choosed a new car, to be honest they never push me to choose and I was three or four times testing different cars until I found one. Then another problem came up: after two months with the car I couldn't get the V5C. I phoned the person I dealt with plenty times and just talked with him 1. He said that he will fix it, but he didn't. Really tired and bored to wait for it, I found the way to do it myself and now I have the V5C. SHORT STORY: This was the worst deal of my life and it took more than 3 months. So, don't buy a car with them to save some money and don't trust the person I dealt with.

Was very cautious after reading reviews but still went in to check the passat which i ended up buying as it was very reasonable price, there was also a coule there who travelled all the way from london to buy a white x6. I found the sales man, called faz very confortable to talk to unlike other garage people. Car is exactly as described. All used cars have faults and i was surprised that the sales man pointed out couple of faults which are normal with vw cars. Very happy with the experience. Well recomended to anyone.

Sold me a dangerously unroadworthy vehicle and were inaccurate about V5 logbook and vehicle inspection report. The staff will not respond to complaints and Trading Standards are now involved. These people flout The Road Traffics Act and Consumer Rights Act at will. I have had to spend a lot of money to get the vehicle roadworthy and safe. Please, please HAVE NO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. You will regret ever dealing with them and wish you had gone elsewhere.

AVOID! We agreed that Murrayburn Motors would sell our Toyota Aygo at an agreed price and keep the sale proceeds above this figure. The company had our car for over 3 months and there was no sale. It took over 2 weeks and many ignored telephone calls for us finally to get the car back with an additional 500 miles on the clock!!! Murrayburn Motors used our car as a courtesy car for its other customers and did so without our permission. We know this as an online shopping receipt was left in the car with the details of another customer on to whom we contacted. This lady from Alloa confirmed that she had been given this car as a courtesy car as the one Murrayburn Motors had sold her had a broken clutch and was in for repair. This lady also was having the greatest difficulty in getting her car back. We are now pursuing Murrayburn Motors for this and are working with the relevant authorities so this does not happen again. Please be very, very careful when dealing with this company.

Well I was going to see a car from this company as it seemed reasonably priced. After reading these reviews think I'll pass and go somewhere else. Thanks for sharing experience
