Where do i even start? i suppose with the sale rep, i phoned up about a Ford Focus and the sales rep was my best friend sorting everything out and answering my calls and emails but soon as i paid my best friend vanished! never responded to emails and phone calls he never called me back and i had to ask for paperwork for 49 days! it took 51 days to get my warranty pack and service history.

The car itself -

was advertised as full service history, cars last service was at i believe 31,000 miles the car was sold to me at 68,000 miles so how's this a full service history? can tell the car hasn't been serviced regularly and Evans Halshaw informed me the car would be serviced to their standards before delivery, car arrived with completely no washer fluid, oil was below minimum! brake fluid and coolant was way below minimum and engine was mucky with no finger prints also confirming the engine hadn't been touched in months possibly even years, also found snapped off plastic parts just laying in the engine itself, paint has came off the alloys where they made botch repairs with that throw on alloy paint so that looks a mess and also parcel shelve is broke and also back two tyres were a little flat.

Delivery-

Car was driven oven 220 miles to my home by a man not wearing gloves or a mask and left a coffee in my drivers door cupholder and never wiped the car down after leaving it which was never told to me! if i had known it would be driven i wouldn't of bothered and also the driver had the Focus in sport mode the entire trip and car turned up with not even £3 worth of petrol in tank. Luckily morrisons is really close or i would of had to fetch petrol in another car to come home and fill it up!

Aftersales-

Having owned the car for over 2 and a half months now the car needs going into a garage for a gearbox repair as the car was sold with a slight judder which i thought was maybe normal as i never drove an automatic before but turns out the juddering didn't go away it got worse and started slipping gears and just booking a car in under warranty is insane and block you in every direction in the hope you give up and dont use warranty.

- about car having full service history
- about them servicing car before sale
- car rocked up with below minimum for every fluid even oil = dangerous!
- gearbox needed repairs
- no info on when service is even due "next"
- took over 50 days since sale to get paperwork
- car turned up like it was driven through Africa or a rally track

I would avoid Evans Halshaw once that car is paid for they do not care what your problems are or what you think and their warranty...not worth paper its written on! also called me a liar pretty much so had a friend mechanic and two independent garages check the car over and all come to same conclusion the car has not been serviced in an awful while so who's the liar? do not use them you'll pay for it later down the line.

Would like to add after they booked my car into a Fords dealership in my town the car has been sat there 4 days without even moving, Evans Halshaw wont approve the repairs and are now saying they want to drive the car 150 mile to BlackPool when the cars gearbox DOES NOT WORK and the car has a blackbox installed.
