Do Your Research On The Product Before Buying It From Them
Bought a second-hand Macbook in ‘excellent’ condition. When it arrived about a week later it appeared to be brand new – and that is probably because it was and came from a batch that had been rejected for sale because of a faulty keyboard (a recall notice on the model has been issued by Apple). Fortunately for us, the fault in the one we had was that 3 or 4 keys stuck, so we can either try and send it back and hope to get a better one; pay to get the keys fixed; or attach another keyboard. Although this is a minor problem, to my way of thinking this does not count as ‘excellent’ condition (‘excellent’ means something like a few minor cosmetic scratches); and, more importantly, the original product description should say ‘may have keyboard faults’ so people can decide whether the reduction in price of the Macbook is worth the hassle in fixing the faults.
