Skylink parking services review. We had called Skylink parking services 30 mins prior to arriving like requested by the service. When we arrived at Gatwick car park 5 level 6, to drop off car, there was utter chaos with loads of people either waiting for Skylink to arrive with their cars or to take their cars for them to go to the airport. We had to wait 1 hr and 15 mins for someone to arrive after calling them numerous times to be continuously told someone was on their way, which simply was not true. This hour snd 15 minute wait nearly caused us to miss our flight. I was also very worried leaving our 2 cars with the person who arrived as there were so many people at this point doing the same thing causing us to worry about our cars. After our holiday and upon arrival back to Gatwick airport we contacted the service as soon as we landed to let them know. They then took over 2 hours to arrive. We landed at 10.30pm and nobody came until 12.35am. Again, there was utter chaos with loads of families in the same position as we were in, some with very young children. At this point a man turned up, not with our cars as was told would happen but said he would take 4 drivers to their holding ground to get their cars. We were lucky to be 2 of the drivers (having 2 cars) as there were so many people left waiting. We had to leave our children at the car park, luckily our children were old enough to be left. When we arrived at the holding site, all cars were rammed so tight together leaving approximately a couple of inches or less between each car which was horrendous. When my partner got in his car, a message came up to say that the car had been in a collision at 12.30pm that day. When my parter asked the man about this, he denied it. We checked the car and there was a dent on the front right of the car. The man became irate, saying he had pictures to prove that the car was like that when it arrived. We followed him in to the cabin asking us to show us the pictures but we were shouted at by him and told to leave. We reported this to the police on the night. This service is dangerous and horrifically run. Please don’t use this firm.

We have used skylink twice. The first occasion they had 1 guy driving in and out picking up cars. He did not stop long enough to take our keys and we ha to wait 1hr just to drop the car off. Additionally when arriving back at 1am and desperate to get home to bed for work in the morning, we had the same issue. We had another hour to wait. They did not take calls or answer emails on our return. On the second occasion we booked via another compand and it turned out to be Skylink again. On return from our holiday, the car park was heaving with furious customers who had been waiting a number of hours for their cars. They told us we couldn't have our car till the next day. They extremely rude and kept swearing at my husband and putting the phone down on us. My mother had hours to live and we had to hire a car to get to the hospital urgently and then come back again the following day to get our car, also loosing a days work. They are APPALLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I parked my car with Skylink through Heathrow. On return they had lost the car key. My car was in a filthy state and was damaged. They travelled over 300 miles in it while I was abroad. The Met. Police have issued me with a parking fine for speeding whilst I was abroad and the car was in the control of Skylink. As with other comments, they rarely answer phone calls and very rude when they do, they were late collecting the car and I had pay for a taxi to collect my car from a public car park. I REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS FIRM.

I recently parked at Heathrow with Skylink Parking. On having the car returned, the driver contacted me around 4 times in 30 minutes. The last contact was to say he couldn’t get to level 4 and the car was parked on level 3. I was there within a minute. The driver had gone, the keys on top of the wheel. I packed the car and when I sat in the drivers seat realised the passenger mirror was damaged, no back and no mirror. This was in August. I replaced the mirror at my own cost, and due to the age of the car had a mirror of a slightly different colour and a non branded replacement. This cost £100. A Toyota mirror on its own would have cost around £250 before fitting. I have been in contact by email and this is still ongoing. I was told I would have a decision by 28th September. It is now the 24th October. I would advise people to totally avoid the company and agree with others that I wished I had looked for reviews prior to booking. Hopefully this entry will put out a warning to people looking to use this company, a company I would seriously avoid.

Appalling service all round. Late pick up of the car, very late drop off. Endless lies and excuses and then no response from so-called customer services. Avoid at all costs!

Just to advise the hundreds of dissatisfied clients of this company that on 30 September they have applied to Companies House to 'strike the company from the Register'. Obviously a clear tactic in an attempt to remove them from any liability of the ongoing small claims processing through court. You can object to this Application (see below) if you intend to take legal action against the Company: You can object to a limited company’s application to be struck off the companies register if you’re a shareholder or other interested party, such as a creditor, and have a reason to stop the application, for example: you’ve not been told about the company’s decision you think the declarations on the company’s application are false the directors have broken the law, you want to take legal action against the company The Notice also appears in 'The Gazette' which means you may now send an email objecting to this application, to the email address shown on the gov.uk website under the heading of 'Object to a limited company being struck off'. Hope it helps.

Skylink meet and greet at gatwick North terminal. Absolute bad outfit please heed other bad reviews. Absolute bad outfit. I arrived at Gatwick to collect my car at 4pm on the 20/9/22 only to be told they had lost my keys. They suggested I use my spare key which they said I was advised to bring with me in their T&Cs, it isn't by the way. They then said I could get a taxi to and from my house to collect my spare key, a 200 mile round trip, then mail the reciept to them for payment, not really an option I then requested they informed me where my car was and they withheld this information. There was no other help offered other than I could wait all night at the airport to see if they could find my key or three days if they had to order a new one. finally they said I could organise a recovery truck to transport my car to my home at my expense. in the end I had a friend bring me a key and they then reluctantley gave me a post code where my car was located. This turned out to be a reputable company APH and not where my car was. After calling them back a guy turned up in a transit and said follow me. My car was located in what could only be described as an off road 4x4 dirt track/field. I arrived home at 11:30PM. My advice is to to stay away from this company as there were about 9 other customers who waited hours for thier cars, arrived back with over 200 miles on the clock, had there house keys removed from thier key rings or just arrived back damaged and filthy dirty. Some customers trying to drop off their cars saw the chaos and just took their custom elsewhere. I didnt even want to give the 1 star but had to to leave this review Please heed all other bad reviews as they are honestly a joke. Should be taken off the official Gatwick comparison site and kicked of the airport,

Should be shut down. We reported to police that they travelled 114 miles in our car while we were on holiday and the car was ruined.

0 stars. First off they asked us to drop off at north terminal (even though south was booked). No card or proof of drop off. Called upon bags being picked up to be told 45mins wait for car (with a 5hr drive home to follow). Loads of people at the car park had waited 2hours for their cars and every other one was coming back damaged. Called after 45mins to be told it would be another 20 mins at which point I asked for the location so I could get a taxi over or they could pop me on with someone more senior who could help me - they hung up then refused to take any more calls. We got our car 2 hours later which was muddy. The longest wait was 2.5hrs and that lady was still there when we left as were another couple whose car was returned heavily damaged and dented. A young lady on her own was told they didn’t have her car and that another company must have taken it and one man came back to find they hadn’t moved his car from the short stay space he parked it in. Honestly - avoid at all costs. Horrible company. We booked through parking 4 you.

As soon as we arrived at baggage, we called skyline parking, and was told our car would be delivered to South Terminal in an half hour, when we arrived under half an hour later to the South terminal two couples were also waiting, and remarked, when there car arrived, that they thought they’d never see there car again! We had just arrived, so didn’t know what they were talking about. After waiting 50 mins we called them again for an update and was told it would be another 10 mins, after waiting another half hour, we were told, 5 mins, i then called 10 mins later and was informed my car was being delivered to the North terminal. If I hadn’t called them at that point, I have no idea what would have happened! We were tired and exhausted it was 4.30 in the morning and we now had to make our way with all our luggage over to the South terminal. There we were met with the scene of one lady begging almost crying for information about the whereabouts of her car and another couple like us still waiting for two hours!! It was shocking. Our car turned up 2 and half hours later from the time of our first point of contact!! DO NOT use this service, it needs to be shut down IMMEDIATELY!!

Flew from Gran Canaria to Gatwick and used Skylink. Came back from hols at 1am (so a bit tired) and phoned Skylink to bring our car. Told it would be twenty mins. After an hour we phoned and they said our car was 7/8 mins away. After another half hour passes we phone again. We were told 4 minutes away and they slammed phone down on us. Finally arrived after two hours (now 3am). Driver didn’t care and pretended he didn’t speak English. Never use this company

Delivered car to wrong terminal at Gatwick. Lied for two hours as to where it was - and then couldn't bring it to us. Promised refund - nothing received. Cut you off/don't answer calls. Terrible. Truly terrible.

Skyline Parking are terrible! Very rude and incredibly unreliable! I called when we had our baggage! The flight had been delayed by 2 hrs due to paramedics needing to come onto the plane when we landed. They told me that as we were 2 hours late, we were no longer a priority. I was worried that they wouldn’t bring the car and asked if we needed to contact the police to report the car as stolen. They put the phone down on me and when I called back pretended they hadn’t spoken to me and stated the car would be with us in 20-30 mins. After an hour, they wouldn’t take my calls, so my husband called from his phone. They stated that as I had threatened them, they hadn’t brought the car, but would bring it in 30 mins. An hour later, still no car! They didn’t take calls from my husband, so we used my son’s phone! Supposedly, a spot police check had occurred and it would be with us soon! 30 mins later- no car! We spoke to a driver from another company and amazingly, within 10 mins got a No Caller ID call asking us to go a level down in the parking garage. We found our car, keys on the front tire and parking card on the driver’s seat. No driver to be seen!!!

Horrific doesn’t even begin to explain what my sister and I just experienced using Skylink. After landing we were told, over the phone, to wait an hour for the car. After one hour twenty minutes we rang and were rudely told that our car would arrive in ‘one minute’. Fifteen minutes later, we rang again and were told the same. This continued happening (surrounded by families all experiencing exactly the same thing). It got to a point that we were actually taking turns to call because the line was always engaged with everyone else’s. The representative on the car park floor was useless (much politer though, it has to be said). After over two hours our car finally arrived, with about five others. No explanation, no apology, no information. I must add that the drop off experience was just as bad; no information or assistance, one word answers and little direction from the staff. I felt unsure and anxious leaving my car with this company and, having landed today and returned to them, those feelings were completely validated. Skylink, it has been an absolute horror. Never, never again. Do not use this company. Quicker, easier (and less painful) to park your car yourself.

Shocking service. Unprofessional, Dangerous. Abuse of trust. In June 2022, we had booked the meet and greet service for parking with Skylink at Gatwick airport. From start to finish this DID NOT meet our expectations. They didn't answer the phone for our arrival at the airport, adding stress to any confidence they would collect our car. When they finally did arrive (45 minutes after we had arrived in the designated collection short stay car park) we left our keys and electric car in their 'care'. Electric cars have built in tracking. To summarise - they drove our car on three separate occasions at 102 MPH, 90 MPH, 76 MPH during our holiday. Our car was parked in a hotel car park during most of our holiday, before being moved to a car tyre facility - I had expected a secure parking compound. They clocked up nearly 50 miles on our car despite it being parked less than 3 miles from the airport. I have complained about this service, they have dismissed our concerns. There are so many things wrong with this service, they should not be operating and you should definitely not use them. Please help me publicise this poor practice and get them put out of business.

Everything went as planned. pick up and drop were smooth only a short stay but its better than parking at long stay.

After now reading through multiple other complaints I I now realise I got off lightly!!
I strongly feel we should create a platform and join together, and work towards closing this sham of a company down, to save future people having to experience this awful nightmare!
Please feel free to message me on how we can take this forward?
One of my first questions is, how an established airport like Gatwick can have this company operate on its premises?
