“Selective support is no support!”

Written on: 28/03/2013

I first used Nublue hosting a few years ago (2004) when I first set up my web site and to be honest under Andrew Hardman and others it went great.Unfortunately it didnt have a forum, so I opted for punbb and the forum was brilliant.

I then changed my service supplier to Easily through a friend and although that went well it didnt have a facility for the Forums and they could transfer the data etc. However they got some one to set it up and link it in. Im not a techno so I dont know how? In doing so I lost all the members only Forum data and had to rebuild. (Bad move)?

Then Easily was taken over by Jigsy and they then changed the system of updating the webiste etc and it was no good for me, so in August last year I started the process of changing back to Nublue. Changing 2 domain names, and rebuilding a website, and trying to transfer the Forums. Guess what they could transfer to data and so the domain were set to look at the two halves, on under each domain name and they would try and resolve the other matters later.

Its now March and Sadly I am still trying to get the matter resolved. There support team have been trying and keep asking me to find things out, like the data, mysql etc most of which I dont understand, and every result seems to be met by another question, request. If you get me this we can do this! etc etc etc

Now it seems that on provider cant/wont help another and so the customers are left dangling. If they know what they want, Why cant they just get in touch with each other and sort it out? rather that bat things back and forward through me?
