why do they drag it out when you are claiming legitimately!!

We have never expected something for nothing. I,was insured through H.S.B.C. and have had no problem whatsoever being reimbursed for the sadly missed holiday. H.S.B.C. were extremely helpful from thestart of my claim, and within a week of receiving all the relevant paperwork they advised me payment would be in our account within five days. What tremendous service.My husband however,is insured through Columbus Travel, and this claim has now ben forwarded with exactly the same paperwork to Global direct.I am wondering how long it will take for them to reimburse us. My Husband on several occasions has been insured when we travel with Columbus Travel. When I contacted Global direct originally the treatment I received from a member of their Team left a lot to be desired.I complained about the arrogance of this young lady, and said she should go on a course for etiquette and good manners. The Manager rang me back to profusely apologise for the abrupt and extremely rude way this member of staff had spoken to me. I have sent all the relative forms plus Doctors letter explaining my husband was in Hospital when he was due to travel. I am at a loss to know why they are taking so long to reimburse my Husband when all the paperwork required plus relative references has been forwarded to them! We can only hope they sort it out as soon as possible. It is certainly colouring us taking our insurance with Columbus Travel again.
