No Rebate Received!

Did not receive a rebate as promised but was charged more than what they has quoted, so I had to call them again, still promised that me the rebate that they "wanted me to be able to have". Just a gimmick in my opinion! Told me that I did not need to have any other antivirus product, but now it expired without any notification prior to. Very dissatisfied and will find another antivirus product to use for all of the computers.

Rebate Not Received

Do not go with My Tech Help. Not helpful and they have not sent me my 149.99 rebate I was promised.

Rebate Never Comes

I purchased a external hard drive last May. I called them again about the rebate and they said because of holidays 2 to 3 more weeks. Really you got to be kidding me. Will it ever come. I don't think so. If it does I'll post it. Their tech service is great but the rebate department sucks

No Rebate Received

Do not expect the promised rebate to arrive because it won't. And the "help" is not worth ten cents. Waste of money and time.

Worst Support And Most Broken Promises - Stay Away

I was referred by Samsung to this outfit for Galaxy support. I thought from the indian accent that I was buying special software that should come with my phone. The next day I called back and got no further than with popular search engines. Could not understand sales guy because of accent and random muting of phone, same with support person, and same with over an hour trying to get charges reversed. They are so shady that they felt because their tech googled the same answer I had already found (which was why I called in the first place) they should be fully paid. Should be ashamed to have an 800 number. I am hoping this form will allow a rating of zero, because that is fitting. Over 25 years of experience, and this company was the worst ever dealt with.

My Tech Help -- Keeps On Charging You

I don't want to hash it all out again, but basically, I reported My Tech Help as fraud to my credit card company in February. The disputed all the charges and relieved me of having to pay. Now it is August My Tech Help decided they needed to charge me again, out of the blue, although I have not had contact with them in six months. These people have greasy slimy balls and yes, they will pretend they're Apple. Are the customer service people nice? Of course they are....cha-ching...that is how scams work.

They Do Not Claim To Be Apple - But They Position

They do not claim to be Apple - BUT they position themselves to look like Apple AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE without it being illegal. If you search "apple tech support" on google, they are on top of the list. Can you see why I thought they were apple? It is SO EASY to see right through them: they have a CLEAR INTENTION TO DECEIVE. They speak at the maximum speed possible without going above the legal limit and they hire people with accents so it's very hard to understand them.

I had problems turning on my computer so I call my buddy up for the Apple tech support number. My buddy does the aforementioned google search query and gives me that number. I call the number and ask for simple ways to troubleshoot my computer. They tell me my computer can EXPLODE because the battery was malfunctioning. I was scared for so I agree to get my computer fixed for 200$. If they were Apple, they would have told me my warranty would have covered it!

I then find out that they are NOT Apple and now I am going through the drudgery and tedium of getting a refund!!

Questionable Business Practices All Around

After I moved to Tampa, Florida and set up all of my Cable and Internet with a large company (one of the MyTechHelp aliases) sent me a router and essentially enrolled me in a tech support program that they represented to be associated with the company that I had set all of my services up with. I immediately sent the router back, but MyTechHelp continued to bill me $9.99/month for "services." I called the company multiple times in order to be refunded, and the customer service representatives just give you the run around the whole time and connect you to at least a half a dozen different departments that can't help you. They constantly try and sell you on support services and claim that they are supporting a product that you own whether it be a laptop or TV. To be honest, this is the most ridiculous company I have ever dealt with. The customer service representatives refuse to help you until you are to the point of yelling at them. At no point did this company ever provide a service to me on any product that I own, yet they will represent to. At first they will offer to refund you one month of fees, but all you have to do is continue to push and yell at them. They will then offer to refund 3 months, then 6 months, then everything. My issue went on for almost a year until finally being resolved today after my 3rd call in 11 months to the company. Hopefully the refund I was promised will actually be processed and get back to me. MyTechHelp is essentially running a billing scheme and any business relationship with them needs to be avoided.

Don't Use This Shady A** Company Ever!!!!!!

Okay first off i have a 2011 macbook air and the internet stopped working on it somehow, like i had the wifi connected but it wouldn't let me get on the internet so first i looked around the internet on my phone to see if i could fix it myself. I came across a firewall that i didnt even know i had and thank God i enabled it before i called mytechhelp so since i couldnt fix it i googled apple tech support phone number on my phone and that was the first thing to come up. I saw it said apple tech support so i thiught it was legit. I called and it seemed pretty authentic at first but f no it isnt. So i talked to a lady (and she seemed to be from india or something and i could hear a lot of people and stuff in the background) i told her my problem and the reason why i felt hope was because she got my internet working again. So i was like yay so she told me i had a virus on my mac (which is very dumb becauseacs RARELY get viruses and i didnt download anything) she said she could fix it permanently for a fee of $119 at first all i heard was $19 so i was thinking okay that isnt bad but i realized it was more. Me being dumb thinking this was legit i gave her my debit card number, serial number, and address ugh *facepalm* i blame myself honestly for falling for this sketchy sht my card was declined because i dont have that kind of money at the time and she was very aggressive about getting the money she even offered to call my bank so i told her to call me later and she offered some shady $100 gift card and it was online only and they took out $9.00 out my account so she called back eventually and talked to my dad cuz im only 17 and she was just BSing about the situation my dad said to not continue the service. He called the bank immediately to get that $9.00 reversed and im glad my card got declined so i wasnt out of any serious money and im glad i had my firewall up so they couldnt hack my lap top i just wasted a whole day dealing with this bullsht now im waiting for my mom to get home to see if they didnt damage my $1000 computer but i hope by just getting the serial number they cant do anything. This has taught me a valuable lesson do not effing deal with them their full of sht!!!!
