I was lead here to believe it was HP support. My laptop was well under warranty but the tech said it didn't cover software when I KNOW FOR A FACT it does. Anyways, they said I needed to pay 99.99 for it otherwise I could pay 79.99 for the technician service because I had a virus. So I did, got on the phone with the 'tech' who in general said he could not do anything for me and I would have to call the company to get a disc for my laptop in order to restore it and remove the virus. I called the REAL HP and had my problem resolved in an hour (which most of it was spent waiting for my computer to restore to factory settings). I called this company back and asked for a refund. Now today, I called again. First got a lady who rudely said, "it is what it is, our supervisors are on holiday vacation so the one supervisor who goes over that has a heavy load so you might not get your refund back until 10 days from now and you just called on the 11th? That's not very long ago, that was only three days ago." REALLY?! I wondered why I didn't get an email or anything so I called back and got a guy who was not friendly at all Jerry is his name I believe. He said nothing was ever processed and he'll take care of it. Put me on hold for 7 minutes, came back and said it was all taken care of and I'll receive my refund 5-7 business days. I asked for a confirmation/receipt number sent to my email address and he couldn't do that saying they don't have anything of the sort but ended up giving me a case number which I question it's legitimacy. So I have to go off his word from a company who has deceived me from the very beginning? I expect my refund back and I do not get it back a week from today, I WILL CALL BACK with a lawyer. This is absolutely ridiculous.
