This post is in the name of my wife who passed away on 15/05/14 after a 2 year fight with breast cancer.

She booked a trip to Las Vegas for April to renew our vows in The Little White Chapel.

Sadly due to a sudden deterioration of her condition we never made it & had to cancel.

I asked TWTC about a refund & they advised me to contact the Chapel direct as this was my best hope. Duly they replied & agreed to pay all what the TWTC had paid them.

Eventually I received £150 which was £90 pounds short of the booking fee.

I questioned this with TWTC & was told that the difference was for their overheads & the time & effort in getting my money back from Las Vegas.

I mentioned about showing some compassion due to the circumstances. They replied by saying that They were being compassionate & I was lucky to get any money back.

Every other company that were involved in the trip all made full refunds including Virgin Atlantic who repayed over £4000 pounds for cancelled flights.

In the end it's not the money it's the principle & knowing that if it does go wrong due to the worst of circumstances, the company that you are dealing with isn't thinking of their bottom line.

Sometimes they just do what is right.

Thankfully I will never have to deal with TWTC in the future but if you do then remember despite what Matt says they're only thinking about the profit. So do yourself a favour & look somewhere else.

We stumbled on the Wedding Travel Company and have to say it is the best thing we could have done. The Wedding Travel Company were amazing through all our dealings with them. The arrangements were taken care of efficiently and we never had to chase them for anything - not once. This made our time away in Las Vegas extra special. We got married at the Special Memory Chapel and the staff there were brilliant too. Because everything was so well arranged it made my husband (haha - sounds good) and I feel so good that we had the most amazing time. We stayed in the Tropicana who again were brilliant and because we were getting married made everything feel really romantic. We spent a few days in Las vegas after our wedding day which was great before jetting off to Antigua which completed the most amazing time of our lives and ones we will never ever forget!! We made the decision to jet off abroad, just the two of us, to tie the knot. We didn't know where to begin and the idea of Vegas was joked a few times...so we made some enquiries!

I found The Wedding Travel Company in Google and from the minute Matt answered the phone we were offered a great service! I did make enquiries with other companies too but this company really stood out, partly for how polite and helpful they were but also because Matt really listened to us...we didn't have a clue what type of wedding we wanted and Matt talked us through ALL of the options. We can't thank him enough for the level of patience he provided us. I think we must have received more than 5 quotes with completely different scenarios and all of it was done promptly and without any pressure to commit. I can honestly say we didn't feel under pressure to go with this company...which made us like them even more!

We choose a wedding at the Valley of Fire State Park...we also booked the hotel, flights (sooo much cheaper than anywhere else) and hire car through the company too.

We had the most amazing wedding and honeymoon...Vegas was absolutely amazing and the Valley of Fire was incredible, too much for words!! The guys at the Special Memory Chapel (who were booked on our behalf through the Wedding Travel Company) were so lovely and made our day even more special...especially the driver Steve and the awesome photographer Bobby! We had such fun when we were at the valley of fire and got some amazing pictures. Being there was so surreal.

Matt gave us some great advice about all of the hotels in Vegas - his knowledge of the city was great and told us all about each one! We wanted luxury and Matt suggested the Encore at the Wynn, he was right!...We felt so spoilt, the views were amazing from our suite and the food and service was outstanding.

We honestly can't thank the Wedding Travel Company enough for the level of service that they provided us...from the day I made the first enquiry to when we set off on our travels. Matt knew the whole trip was so important to us and he was so great at putting us at ease and making it all so easy for us.

Anybody looking to marry in Vegas...it's better than you can imagine! And there are so many options...if you want to know them all then i would definitely recommend at least speaking to this company.

we decided to get married in veags and trieda few different sites to get ideas and quotes. www.theweddingtravelcompany.com were by far the most helpful. always replied promtly and we felt like they cared and tried to get us exactly what we wanted. vegas is a great pleace to get married and i would definately recommend that anyone thinking about a weddingb there speaks to these guys

After trying to arrange our wedding online with another company, we thought that we would try a high street agent, but the prices and the information was really poor, so we thought we would try the wedding travel company, we called and expalined what we needed, and within a couple of hours we had everything emailed over to us, i talked it over with my w2b, and we decided everything was perfect, so called next day and wee are now booked,
