I lost my money and they won't refund it. Once order is placed online there is no proper order handling. Even the invoice is not shown. They sent a fake UPS label and said the order is shipped. However none was when I checked with UPS. Then after I requested for refund they said it's done without specifying any reference number. Till date I have not received my money. It's been over 3 weeks now. I had placed an order on 29th Nov '20. Order no. 39596 for sheesham championship chess set, GBP 100.43.

I wanted a set of chess pieces to go with a chess table with a blackwork embroidered board. I was nervous about making an online purchase. The website was great. Huge range of products to choose from, very clear photos and the detailed descriptions helped me make the best choice.

The black pieces I wanted to be really black and not dark brown to go with the board and I soon found my way to ebony and ebonized staunton style sets. The most important bit of info remaining was the guidance on the site about the size of board the pieces would suit.

I didn't even make a phone call to the seller, and have no complaints about service or delivery. For the price I paid (less than I might have been ready to spend) I did wonder if the product would live up to it's description on the site but I am delighted with it.

The Regency Chess Company are second to none when it comes to their range and quality of products.

Their website is a joy to use and the promptness in dealing with my order fantastic.

Chess enthusiasts can end up spending a small fortune on quality chess sets and although Regency do do some very high end products I didn't end up spending through the nose and received a set that is of great quality and I am incredibly pleased with.

I was in the market for a Lewis chess set and found the regency site. They have a small but good selection of Lewis chess sets, both pieces with board, and pieces on their own. I went for the larger of the two sizes combined with a basic mahogany chess board.

The site was easy to use, just like any other web shop. I was impressed with the three emails I got, firstly to tell me the order had been placed, then that it was being packed up, then that it had been dispatched. It arrived 36 hours after I placed my order.

The chess set is excellent quality. The pieces are from another well known brand, the board is Regencys own product. I am extremely happy with both, they make a great chess set which is now proudly displayed in my house.

I was initially slightly concerned about spending nearly three figures on a chess set, but it's well worth the money. I am very happy with it and the level of service I received.

I wanted an Isle of Lewis chess set as a family gift and this was the perfect choice. I was a bit indecisive about which one to go for, but the website made it really easy to see all the details of each, with a good selection of photos to see the boards and pieces close-up.

Delivery was really fast and the set is very well made, brilliant quality.

I couldn't be happier and would definitely recommend the company to others.

I can only say that their luxury chess set looks better than it did on their very impressive website!

I was not quite sure about which set I was ready to purchase, but the gentleman I spoke with was knowledgeable, courteous and very patient.

I'm not personally a Chess fan so when I was asked to purchase a new chess set for my father I didn't really know where to start.

I bought a fairly modestly priced chess set from these people and was very impressed with two things. Firstly the delivery came next day despite me opting for the free delivery option which was meant to take 3 days to arrive. A bonus I guess.

Secondly the quality of the product far outstripped my expectations. It was very well made and durable, especially the chess pieces which I thought were worth a lot more than i paid.

Overall very happy and would recommend.
