Ordered on 21st November. Not received by 5th December. Emailed the firm and got a prompt response but not too helpful. They had according to them sent the item out on 21st. It wasn't tracked and it went missing! Got full refund but it was the doll that we wanted for Xmas for our granddaughter. Apparently they didn't have any in stock to send us. We never received a reply to our email to them re the item. That is a disappointing aspect of their business model

I payed an item by Paypal and it was intended to be shipped to Spain, but it was some kind of internal error and the item appeared as "bounced" in my otherland.co.uk page. After 3 attempts to contact the costumer service to figure out the issue, they just told me to cancel the payment and retry (they didn't claim the money anyway). The second time I tried to perform the payment, I experienced the same problem, but this time I couldn't contact the customer service, no matter the way I tried to.

After I didn't get the toys I ordered (in september 2013!), I mailed for 11 times, and called for about 20 times (very difficult also to find their phonenumber) and never got an answer. I ordered for £68,63! never got my money back as well. A very very BAD company. NEVER EVER BUY THINGS HERE! I would never recommend this company as they take your money and that's it. Overall rating NO STARS AT ALL! For more than a year waiting for the toys I paid for. They don't answer the mail or the phone. I've asked for a refund, but my money is gone I'm afraid. So my daughter missed her birthday present, and the company took my money.

So: DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

I bought a keyring for my husband as a Christmas present - the one that beeps when you whistle, so you can locate your keys.

The item arrived after 2 weeks, it beeped for the first few times and stopped working all together.

There is no contact number so I sent them an email, they didn't even bother to acknowledge or reply.

2 years down the line, I keep getting spam from their marketing department. I have lost count of how many times I have unsubscribed, but they pay no heed whatsoever.

Shockingly bad customer service - an 'I don't care' attitude from an internet box shifter with no regard for their reputation.

I ordered a number of items on the 25th November, I received an email saying they will be sent on 2-3 day courier service. I checked online again on the 13th December and they were still showing as processing. I sent an email that was never answered and there is no telephone number available anywhere on the site, however there is a fax number? Now who installs a telephone line into their business and only hooks up a fax to it?

I ordered a toy from them on November 15th and I have yet to receive the item on December 3rd. No contact e-mail adres and the contact from is programmed by some brainless monkey with his head up his ass. Seriously, how can you provide such a poor contact service.

Still waiting on my order, otherwise I'll be forced to call upon my card issuer's insurance and get my money back...

I ordered a disney princess mid sleeper tent for my granddaughters birthday. I usually order from a well known on line, but everywhere this item was out of stock. Otherlands site stated that they had one. I then decided to read the reviews page,which I would normally do before ordering, and was horrified to read other peoples experiences. I then received an e-mail (the same day as order) which stated that the item was not in the delivery that they had had in the warehouse, I could either wait for it or cancel the item. In view of the reviews I cancelled. However in hindsight,I could not fault the company, I was again e-mailed the next day to be told that my money had been refunded and they offered their apologies for having to let me down with the order. I checked with my bank, and they had refunded. my husband did say that it is usually only people that are not happy that do reviews, so I say if you are thinking of ordering. go ahead give them the benefit of the doubt, I am sure you will not be disappointed.

Ordered a large Yankee candle from them, when it arrived it came in a box with no protective packaging whatsoever and arrived smashed beyond use. Contacted the company for a refund/ replacement and heard nothing back. £16 wasted and one cut finger when I took the candle out of the box on the smashed glass.

Very disappointed!
