I was after a nice colourful bedding for my daughter who loves monkeys and other exotic animals. I wanted bedding rich in different animals - not a couple of similar creatures repeated everywhere. My other mandatory requirement was a 100% cotton with good density. I searched Google, Amazon, bis and small retailers. To my surprise I had to conclude that the market was very poor for this in the UK. I was able to find either cheap Chinese bedding with a lot of synthetics (50/50 polycotton or polyester) or poor colours or animal patterns. Some better 100% cotton bedding was too overpriced why the design was not worth such a huge amount of money. Finally I found bedding by Original Toys UK and it ticked all my boxes - colourful, rich in animals and characters, 100% cotton and made in EU (I was really very surprised to learn that it is possible to find some European goods among all the Asian stuff). Another important thing to mention - Original Toys UK was the only retailer who was offering fitted sheets with exactly the same patterns as their duvet and pillow covers. I believe that there are a lot of other parents and kids with the same interests than mine (my children's) so this retailer really deserves more prominent position.
