Reliable

Forbidden Planet has never let me down to date. They stock a fantastic range of items at a competitive price and are my go to for merch.

Occasionally there is a delay when it comes to dispatch, but I always receive prompt replies from their customer service and assurance that it is simply a matter of a backlog in the aftermath of sale periods.

Don't Bother With A Pre-order

I pre-ordered the life is strange comics in December and have only just received some of my order today (January 18th). The delivery time took way longer than I expected and because of this I have seen several spoilers for the latest comic. Two of my comics were also in the same plastic packaging which I thought was quite lazy. After my last comic arrives I will not be using this service again.

If Late Do Something About It.

FP have sent a generic message saying that deliveries/dispatch are delayed. If thats the case don't expect the customer to wait with a standard 2nd class postal service on top.

Get it out sooner and commit.

Disappointing Communication Regarding Delivery

My order has taken over 2 weeks to be dispatched. I appreciate that it may be a busy period however I only ordered a calendar and I was not told that there may be a delay until I had to chase my order up after a week.

Amazing Books And Fantastic Customer Service!

I've been a customer for many years, buying especially collector videogame art books. All of them are of high quality! Last time I had issue with the book I ordered, package had been very damaged with transportation. Customer support was very kind and took care of everything: sending back for free the damaged package, and sending me a new one. All of that, very quickly! Will definitly order there :)

Christmas Present Not Arriving Until Well Into January

I ordered a pop vinyl for a Christmas present on 18th December. I specifically ordered it from this website and paid more than on other sites because on the website it read that it would arrive well within time for Christmas. I have received an email today (31st December) telling me the gift has been dispatched today! Totally unacceptable.

Horrendous Communication

Ordered two books a full ten days before Xmas. One arrived, the other was missing. Only today, two weeks later,did I get a notice that the second book was being dispatched? Embarrassed xmas day and had to explain that the other gift was missing. No communication or customer care. Also please do not pack a small book in a large cardboard box with a ton of polystyrene. Totally unnecessary and utterly eco non friendly. Shambles of a system.

I Haven’t Got My Item Yet But The Website Was Very

I haven’t got my item yet but the website was very easy to follow and to order to my item. I did however order my item 5 days ago and it’s still not here hopefully it’ll come tomorrow so I can give it out on Christmas Day.

Not Despatched As Promised

We ordered this on 7th December but, although it was advertised for delivery on the 12th, it wasn't even despatched until the 12th. This will mean we have no secret Santa present for my son to give to his classmate on Friday morning.

Promise Of 3-5 Day Delivery Not Met.

ordered the book so i had something i wanted to read when i went away to australia for christmas its a long flight. i ordered the book and waited 2 weeks and still no delivery, so unless there is some kind of mail fraud the book was never sent.

and as i leave tomorrow on the 10th of December 16 days after i placed my order the promise of 3-5 days delivery has obviously been broken..

i would like a refund for the 10 pounds wasted, and i would like to say i am very disenfranchised with forbidden planet for letting me down in this instance as usually your company goes out of its way to help customers and is enthusiastic about its product
