After searching the net for a good place to buy my favourite cigar at a good price, I happen to find myself on the Havana House cigar shop website (havanahouse.co.uk). Being pleased with the selection and very reasonable pricing, I decide to try out the service and buy some single cigars.

Now I am quite wary of online retailers with low prices but as price was my main driving factor for the time being, I chose to take the plunge. I'm glad I did.

The selection is brilliant in comparison to other online cigar retailers, and even better than my local ones I have visited. One very important thing to me was the postage cost, and at the time of this review, this shop offered the best postage cost, along with prices far less than the others for exactly the same items.

After I had placed and paid for the order, impressively, the order arrived the next day. Very well packaged and in perfect condition.

In case anyone is worried about cigars being bought through the post; I understand, but for this shop; don't be worried. The speed of delivery and level of customer service of this shop is impeccable and something to be admired. If anything goes wrong, you will have no problems.

I know this as I had encountered a small glitch online while ordering, maybe caused by my internet dropping out, but once I had spoken to the shop about this, it was resolved in a way that has secured my custom for life. To give the details of what happened would take a a rather boring, slightly convoluted paragraph, so I will spare you the details and just say that I work in sales and customer service, and have dealt with glitches, problems, complaints, errors, and anything that can and has gone wrong in my industry, and I hold myself in the highest regard when it comes to customer service, but the highest service expectation I have for any shop (online and in the high street) has been truly smashed by this place.

It is true that stronger rapport is built between shops and customers when things go wrong. And this company has sincerely earned itself my custom and loyalty.

Overall, this company has reputed itself to me as a store that has all the best bits of online shopping; cost, selection,delivery, quality and most importantly, customer service.

I simply cannot fault this shop. I will be returning again and again to purchase my favourite cigars.

Thank you very much for an enlightening experience, and I hope other shops follow suit, but somehow I think what Havana House does is something that is lost by so many businesses nowadays; putting customers first.

Seriously, forget the rest, call these guys!
