Good Place To Buy Tickets

This website is good for purchasing tickets. I did order for Karol G tickets for Spectrum Center and I received these tickets and promised, in time. No hidden charges. Usually, I do not buy from a new vendor unless I check it with my friends who regularly go to music events. Some of my buddy suggest this source for buying tickets and I am glad that I did find it.

Do Not Use This Site!!!!!

Found out on the day that I was supposed to be able to print tickets that their license for the theater was revoked-this was after a couple phone calls with the seller that assured me I would have tickets- I luckily found tickets only at $300 more than I had expected to pay, but our whole non-refundable trip was based on seeing this show for my daughters birthday.

Do Not Buy

I just bought two tickets from ticketmate. I got charged $80 extra when I called they said it was fees. Hidden fees for $80. You don’t get your tickets through email but in mail. When I called the man who answered was rude and not helpful. I haven’t received the tickets yet. HORRIBLE!!!!

Buyer Beware - No Tickets For Almost $500

I purchased concert tickets for my parents on 12/25 for a show on 1/20. Ticketsmate communicated the tickets would be sent by 1/18. Instead, they sent the tickets on the afternoon of the show while I was traveling. When I arrived, it was too late to get the tickets to my parents to see the show. Ticketsmate has no explanation for the delayed tickets, no empathy for the situation it caused, and no willingness to make any kind of adjustment for the error. I strongly recommend using other more reputable ticket reseller sites that have a customer service orientation and philoaophy.

Do Not Buy From Ticketsmate

DO NOT PURCHASE CONCERT TICKETS THROUGH TICKETSMATE. My sister and I bought tickets for my mom and dad back on March 5th for the Billy Joel concert tonight and didn't get their tickets until today at 5pm ET (3PM MST). In case you missed that, THE CONCERT IS TONIGHT (November 29, 2017)! I spent hours (probably more than 24 hours total) on the phone with them trying to get their tickets when at 3 PM today, they told me my tickets were lost and they had to re-assign my parents. I've been dealing with their BS for almost 8 months now and can't even begin to tell you how disappointed and frustrated I am with them. They have the WORST customer service too. Save yourself the stress and buy your tickets elsewhere.

Customer Service Is Lacking

I ordered 2 tickets to see A Perfect Circle. After paying $20 per ticket in service fees ($40 total fees) I opted to pay an additional $15 to have actual ticket stubs mailed to me instead of print at home tickets. I do this because the ticket itself is a souvenir to me and I keep them all. To my surprise, I was MAILED two print at home tickets. I would have never paid the shipping charge if I knew this considering I could have just printed them for free. After messaging Ticketsmate's Facebook page with no reply, I finally got an email where the representative gave me a run around answer about how apparently the merchant prefers to mail print at home tickets to ensure they are actually received? And in no way did they offer to send me the actual tickets or refund the $15. The reply I was sent didn't even make sense. $15 isn't much but you live and you learn. I go to concerts constantly and I will NEVER use this website again.

I Attempted To Buy 3 Tickets For $150 Each (well O

I attempted to buy 3 tickets for $150 each (well over face value) and it says it's an $8 delivery charge at "checkout". Then I proceed to type in credit card info and purchase and it takes me to a final review page where they've added $150 in service fees!!! Some people would miss this and purchase these tickets. Fortunately I didn't. However, it makes me think this site is just trolling for credit card info.

Way Overpriced

I ordered tickets for Phantom of the Opera. The ticket price was 136.00. Ordered 3. That's $408. But with tax, delivery and handling the grand total was $525. Fine, i paid it because i was super excited to go. Got the tickets yesterday which is why the 2 stars. They came super fast!! The show isnt until May.

However, the ticket price on the ticket is actually $66 for each...that is freakin highway robbery!! These people double the price of the ticket AND tack on $120 handling fee at the end. What should have cost me $200 ended up being over $500!! This should be illegal...

Tickets Not Delivered In Timely Manner & Refuse Refund

I purchased tickets on Saturday evening for an event at 3pm on Sunday. The tickets had not arrived by the time I needed to leave late yesterday morning (10:30am). I contacted TicketMates via phone and email- no answer and no email reply (not even auto generated). I had to leave. The eTickets arrived in transit and were not readable at venue (had to be printed). I purchased new tickets at the venue.

When I contacted TicketMates today (Monday 2/27), they refused a refund, partial refund, and the rep said the following:

"You will need to deal with the seller directly. I cannot help you." (TicketMates charged $12.95 per ticket, so $56, to act as a broker. They need to do their full job as middleman and they significantly fell short.)

"You are not entitled to a refund because the seller held up their end of the bargain and delivered the tickets before the event and within 24 hours" (I purchased the tickets 15.5 hours before the event")

"You had enough time to get to the venue between the time the tickets were emailed to you and the start of the event." (I am so glad the customer service rep in San Francisco was able to determine what the appropriate travel time is from my neighborhood in upper Manhattan to Brooklyn on the Q train with weekend service.)

"You could have gone to an office supply shop and printed off the tickets."

1) The seller, Event Tickets Co 6, it turns out, does not have a website, has not returned my email, and they do not answer their phone.

2) If a seller has 24-48 hours to send eTickets, they should NOT be selling tickets to events less than 24 hours away. I have purchased tickets from brokers many times, and I have never had to wait more than 2 hours for eTickets. Never. I assumed this wait time would be comparable.

TicketMates is defending themselves on the technicality that the seller delivered the tickets (that were not digital eTickets- they had to be printed) before the event time and within 24-48 hours of purchase. They should not have sold the tickets if they were not almost immediately available to send to me for printing within several hours. They are not standing behind their product, and they are punting this entirely to the (shady) seller and me to resolve.

Do Not Use- Horrible

I thought I had purchased 3 tickets for Book of Mormon for the Jan 6 7:30 show. When email arrived I noticed that tickets were for the January 7 matinee. I immediately called to change the tickets but was told that all sales were final and they couldn't help me. Ticket prices included a very hefty fee of $40/ticket plus $8 handling fee. I contacted MasterCard to contest the transaction but I didn't get a warm feeling that I would be successful in getting a refund. I would have had to show evidence that the mistake was not my fault. I'm sure that somewhere on their website, there is a notice that all sales are final. My recommendation is to stay away from this company.....
