Went in for an innertube and was sold a completely different one with the so-called expert assuring me it was a replacement. Got home and realised he was just playing with the numbers printed on the box. To top it all off they sold over the RRP anyway. Quite cheeky all in all. So in this case they clearly just wanted to make a quick sale and didn't care about the suitability of the product they were selling.

I wouldn't call it the "expert advice" they claim to give.

My advice for anyone going to this shop is to be fully aware of all your options before you go in and don't fully trust the advice they give. Also beware of how your card is scanned, they like to handle the cards themselves instead of giving you the reader. This is quite obviously a practice most shops have actively moved away from due to the dangers of skimming. All in all, an 'interesting' experience but I won't be going back.
