My experience with ordering from Surf Mountain has been excellent. Their website is very easy to order from and delivery was quick even when I am based in Wales. Correspondence by the Customer Services department was first class. I had to return one of the items - a Rab jacket as I have asked for a size that was too small. This was no problem and they sent me a quick email when they received the jacket back and refunded the amount on the same day of confirmation.

Very impressed with their overall customer service and will look to buy again from them !

this is what surf mountain writes in big letters on its online shop.

I've bought products there for a amount of more than 700 € but still had to pay delivery costs. as the german translations are pretty bad on the website i had to return 3 articles because they weren't as described and had to pay the full return costs.

summary:

- good prices

- good products

- friendly customer care

BUT

- the statement "no hazzle returns" is a complete lie if you have ever ordered at amazon or asos

- > if you order from abroad of GB this online shop isn't worth it. never spent that much time and money for delievery and returning

The guys in the store really know their stuff, they are very helpful and well informed about the gear they are selling, they give honest advice on the product that you are looking at, and will advise you on the product that best suits your needs. I have been shopping at this store for a number of years, and have never had a bad experience, even when I had returned a product (manufacture defect) there was not a problem, it was exchanged then and there. And on a final note about the products that they sell, I have always found them to be cheaper than the multi-nationals.

I recently bought a few items from SurfMountain.com. Wasn't sure about size so spoke to the team and they helped me pick the right size. Coat arrived the next day and well packaged! Great service from SurfMountain I'll definitely be back!
