To be fair, the Sports Direct experience is okay for cheap sportswear IF you can get it in store, but their online service is an absolute disgrace; still to be confirmed, but in my opinion what their lack of ownership of this issue is being complicit in outright negligence.
They are now being completely boycotted and I cannot warn enough people about how terrible the all-round experience has been and genuinely hope that the company fails given how negligent and unhelpful they have been given the failure is in their returns process: DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEIR WEBSITE
Full story: We ordered my son's fairly expensive (~£150) trainers as his main birthday present. When they arrived, they were not at all like the ones in the photo, so we requested a return. Initially we tried to return this in-store, but they insisted it had to go via their Evri returns process (costs us an extra ~£6), but fair enough, we should have gone to Amazon if we wanted a slick, free returns process. 5 days later we're told that they received a dirty polo shirt and would be sending it "back" to us. The items has presumably been stolen in transit, but Sports Direct won't raise the theft with Evri (the courier company), even though the contract for the delivery is between Sports Direct and Evri and a process that they insisted we use. Given the extent to which they have completely ignored the theft and are unwilling to either take responsibility for it themselves or hold Evri to account, I cannot see the situation getting better, hence: DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEIR WEBSITE
We are now down nearly £150 and my wife is crying constantly as we can't afford anything else - so my son has no present for his 15th birthday.

Golf Shoes Falling Apart After 2 Rounds
Bought a pair of Adidas golf shoes & after only TWO rounds the material on the inside of the heel of the shoe had torn open with the plastic protruding causing my heel to bleed. A clear fault as the material clearly tore as a result of the plastic being faulty. However, after sending back to sports direct they claimed it was NOT a defect & this was normal wear & tear & as it was outside of the 28 days would not accept the return. Furthermore, they actually stated in their email if I disputed this & sent them back again they would not return them. To class a hole the size of a 10 pence piece as expected wear & tear after only 36 holes (less as it clearly happened within that time) is unbelievable & the customer service is disgraceful.

Not Received Customer Service Useless
Bought two beds on 20th December 2024.
Estimated delivery 4rh January 2025.
No tracking so I can't track delivery. It's now 8th January. After sending 2 emails which got no response, tried twice with online chat who told me nothing. Eventually got an answer online who says, sorry for the delay. Asked for more accurate timescale of delivery and was told ... can't give out that as we haven't even processed the order yet. Spent hundreds and no items even processed never mind sent out or delivered and sports direct don't care and won't give any further assistance other than. Sorry

Evri misdelivered two orders to completely random addresses. No customer service help, just told to complete a denial of service form. Passed from SportsDirect to Evri and back like a cheap ping pong ball. Forced to escalate the matter using Resolver as it was impossible to speak to a human being. Took 1 month to refund the first order and another month to refund the next. No meaningful apology or explanation at any time. Only 'compensation' offered was a discount off my next buy - why would I waste more time with another order they'll only lose? This is why people use Amazon.

Sports Direct Online Is Crab!
Sports direct online is crab! I ordered over 36 items worth hundreds of pounds only got 6 items and I am told they have all been delivered, like how? Why are you ripping people off their hard earned money, customer service is pathetic and I regret ever shopping with them.

The delivery company claimed that the shoebox was delivered through the letterbox, which is not possible for a standard-sized shoebox. Ordered shoes from this company, they did not send the pair, I went through customer support after FOUR weeks from someone that does not speak English well through email, for them to conclude that I did receive the pair even though the carton that they sent was not big enough for a shoe box.. AVOID at all costs, no shoes received, no refund given, terrible experience.

Hi I bought a pair of trainers from sports direct online.they are not to my satisfaction as my husband is a size nine but the trainers are at least two sizes to small so I need to send them back.I'm asking if I could take them to my local sports direct shop and exchange them possibly ?

How do I cancel a pre order on Sports Direct?
I didn't receive an order confirmation email after placing my order on Sports Direct. When I log in clearly in my 'Order History' I can see the three items I have ordered and their tracking number. But I cannot trace this apparently until it is dispatched? I am now afraid and feel suspicious, have I good reason to be? Help please.
