I did order 4 times from Ribble and I can't say nothing wrong about them. The prices are ONE OF THE BEST ON EARTH. They always answer my questions by Email. Product I got always on Time in perfect condition. They are THREE good stores in England Ribble - MERLINCycle and Wiggle. Wiggle is Best for wheels. Merlin and Ribble fro everything else , the prices change,but still they are the best on EARTH. Merlincycle and Ribblecycle are better stores then all the bicycle stores ON EARTH !!!

I've been a customer for Ribble for sometime and have never need to deal with their customer services, I ordered my goods and got them without a problem. However I decided to take the plunge and purchase a bike using their bike builder and boy did I wish I went down to my local bike shop and pay the extra hundred quid and just walked away with a bike because the level of response I've received from them has been terrible, I inquired first how long delivery was going to take, they initially said 10-11 days, however they failed to mention that in my frame size it was low in stock, I discovered whilst building that bike that they would be getting fresh stock in mid july and it would be with me by the end of July, however its now the 26th of July and I haven't even received confirmation that my bike is being built . I've emailed the customer services 3 times this week asking for an estimate and I get robot responses back stating that I will receive an email when the bike is ready..... not good enough!

I ordered a tyre and mudguards from Wiggle a couple of weeks ago. The delivery didn't show - no wonder, it was sent by the infamous City Link.

So, I ordered the same kit from Ribble last week. £4 cheaper, and the delivery turned up on time. Reason? They use Royal Mail.

Conclusion? Shop at Ribble, not Wiggle.

The only positive thing I can say about the 'experience' of buying from RibbleCycles.co.uk is that they are cheap. It doesn't take long to find out why though. It's taken 3 days for them to even look at my order. I tried to contact them to cancel by telephone but an automated response told me that 'they were not answering telephone calls'. I also emailed them and a day later got another automated reply stating that 'due to staffing issues, individual orders will not be dealt with'. I still don't even know if my goods have been dispatched yet. Be careful if you spend a lot of money with this company as it seems if you are not happy there is no way to get your money back/return an item.
