I've been trying to get a set of brown Clark's Lock-On Vice grips for my bike. For some reason no one has them here in the States. Even when I tried to order abroad, I would only get an email stating that they were unavailable. I placed an order with Petra Cycles, and sure enough I received a package in the mail with the grips. I was so happy! Thanks Petra Cycles from "across the pond."

my son wanted a bmx, so we went to Petra Cycles and immediately we where welcomed in to the shop and given great advice. All the staff knew everything about the bikes. we also where given advice about what local facilities there are to learn to ride a bmx bike. great shop and I would highly recommend the shop to anyone wanting to buy a bike or parts. don't bother looking anywhere else. such a great shop, the staff are more than happy to go out there own way to keep their customers happy.

The staff are so helpfull. I walked in to the shop in oxted and with in seconds they knew what needed fixing on my bike. Really quick and very thoughtful. The price of there products is to good to be true. I like the fact the whole shop is so organised and so equipped.

Excellent bike shop,at first I was a bit hesitant to buy from them but now I have not problems as they have a excellent service. Great product delivered way before I expected it to arrive!! 5 stars! :)

This is my local shop so I ordered my overshoes online and collected them instore. Petra were the cheapest of anyone online for these items and they had the overshoes instore the following working day. Really pleased with the service. I subsequently purchased a Lezyne multi tool and Look style cleats in the shop and even their instore prices are the same as larger stores like chainreaction. I don't like paying over the odds for anything but even if these items were 2 pounds over their online counterparts I'd understand but the same price! Fantastic. They're now truing my road wheels for me. Really pleased to have a store like this round the corner. I think the website could be improved to compete with the other well known online stores though. They cater for mountain bikers and roadies. It's a small shop with big ideas and really deserves to succeed.

I found some hard-to-get Shimano parts on the Petra website and visited the Oxted shop to get them. The chap who served (!) me was offhand to the point of rudeness and clearly wanted me out of the shop. He grudgingly conceded that I could order on line and collect in shop but gave no clues about achieving this on the website. Still wanting the parts but unwilling to be treated shabbily a second time I ordered on line for home delivery. The parts arrived via Royal Mail 1st class (at extra cost) exactly to the timetable given me on line, were all there, and well packed. So my experience on line was good, in shop bad.

I am currently building a new road bike and clearly wheels are a very important part of the package.

On searching the internet I came across a set of DT Swiss 1900 wheels at Petra Cycles for what can only be described as a price that was too good to be true.

I had never heard of Petra before, and given the wide range of products they sell it looked a little unusual to be selling specialist wheels but for the price it was worth taking the plunge and i'm glad I did.

Service was excellent, I was kept up to speed with what was happenign with my order and the products arrived n perfect condition.

Overall a great experience, i'm don't normally submit reviews online but given they appear relatively unknown and provided such a good service definately worth a few minutes to do so. Highly recommended.
