Took Money But Had No Stock And Failed To Say
Ordered a backpack and they emailed to confirm it had been despatched. Tracking also said despatched and then out for delivery, but failed to show a timeline or which Courier. Goods didn't arrive. On emailing the so-called customer service it was clear staff are given no means to resolve problems - but they are world-class at apologising. After many complaints, another person re-ordered and promised delivery on the next drop to my local store. Still didn't arrive and the tracking system then failed to recognise any order from me - the stock page shows there is no stock, but Millets Sports failed to advise me or to refund until I formally demanded. Review sites show this is an endemic problem which leads some to question whether milletsports.co.uk is likely to fail - my experience suggests it may. I have been advised not to waste more time trying to buy as is likely they are mis-using our cash to provide short-term liquidity. Their published responses to delivery problems are superficial and don't resolve complaints.
