I had been looking for a while for a new road bike and finally found what I was looking for at Luciano's Cycles.

Dudley and Clive couldn't have been more helpful, they explained absolutely all the options, pros and cons, costs and time frames and delivered to the letter.

Having now taken the new bike out on the road I couldn't be happier with the bike. In addition the after sales care has been fantastic as I inevitably had a few questions being a road bike novice.

Highly recommend this shop.

On 19th April 2011 I paid £2745.00 to Luciano Cycles for a Bottecchia SP9 Athe. It was being shipped in from Italy and I was told it would take a couple of weeks.

Well, May came and went, then June, July and August. No bike. I was given excuse after excuse. At one time, he said that it had arrived but been delivered to the wrong place. By the time September arrived, I'd had enough and asked to cancel. Funny thing is, the day I cancelled he said that it had just arrived! But I'd had enough by that time and asked for my money back.

I'd paid by debit card and you would think that he could just credit the money back to my card, but no, he gave me a cock and bull story about the bank only letting him credit £250 at a time so said he would credit £250 a day until it was paid back.

I knew this was rubbish but thought at least if I got my money back it would be worth the wait. Well, I had a couple of £250's then they stopped. I had to keep on and on at him to ask when I would get the next payment. It was well into October before I got another payment... he kept giving me excuse after excuse, such as his Mum was in hospital, he'd fallen off his bike, he had a burst water pipe, problems with his roof, the list goes on and on.

It was absolutely riduculous but as I was getting paid something I think he knew that I couldn't take it any further so I waited it out and eventually got my last payment just before Christmas. No apology or compensation for the hassle this has caused me. It was 8 months from start to finish, 5 months waiting for the bike, then 3 months waiting for my money back.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MAN.
