Forty Two Skate Shop, this place is brilliant. It's a beautiful skate shop in the heart of nottingham, 30 seconds from the lace market tram stop. It's a great looking shop and much more comfortable than your usual skate shop.

It's skater owned and run and these guys really know thier stuff, they won't sell you the most expensive thing if a cheaper item is best for you. It's really good value too, they have shoes for £35.00 and t shirts from £10. They have a huge selection of boards and some really bespoke things that you can't get elsewhere. They have a ramp in the basement and you can watch the action on a live webcam on thier website.

I've shopped there many times and have always had a good experience,the guys are friendly and very helpful and have recommended it to friends who are now also regular customers.

Thier website,www.fortytwoshop.co.uk, is lovely to look at, really easy to use and full of great stuff. As a vegetetarian the vegan skate shoe page is brilliant. There is a large selection of brands with detailed descriptions and pictures.The site is full of videos and information about brands and teams.

It has a guide to nottingham skateparks complete with pictures, info on how to get there and what you'll find when you're there.
