I purchased a West German 1970 retro shirt from Football Nation and the gentlemen who took the order said although it usually takes two weeks to arrive it may take up to three. After three weeks the order status and not changed and no sign of item so I contacted them. They said they were busy and would call me back, I never got a call back but received this email:

Hi, we had a message to update you on you order.

Apologies this is taking some time, we had just placed a large order with the supplier just before yours came through. As such, we wait until we are ready to place a further larger order and this has just happened so it could be a further couple of weeks before this arrives, which is due to customs now.

Do you still wish to wait or not?

Thank-you

I am guessing if I had said nothing I would still be waiting, I obviously expressed I did NOT wish to wait. Surprising they have any customers with this level of service.

I ordered the Football shirt from Football Nation on Sunday evening and it arrived Tuesday morning; I was delighted as I was having trouble finding the shirt elsewhere, I will be using Football Nation again and will recommend to my friends. Good communication and prompt delivery

I love Football Nation and just happened to stumble across it recently. They do everthing a footie fan would want from replica tops to gloves, boots, framed prints and even Subbuteo!! I've bought from them twice now and will def be back.

Clean shop and website is also cool. It's well laid out, loads to choose from and the guys in the shop really know their stuff which is refreshing especially when I usually get a grunt from staff at some of the other sports stores. Overall a great shop and website - i got a response to an email 10 mins after i sent it - totally recommend to other footie fans.

Excellent customer service, always prompt and polite in correspondence. No avoidance or trickery when dealing with the replacement and return of a shirt (nothing wrong with the product). Good website, easy to navigate and view, with an amazing range of club shirts that are rarely stocked elsewhere. And excellent value too.

Great and fast communication and my shirt arrived the next day! They stock a lot of stuff that the big guys don't touch especially Scottish football stuff but they still do all the English and European gear. If you are fed up with dealing with faceless internet stores, give these guys a chance. It's how online retailing should be. Fast and friendly!!!
