According to Trading Standards, Bonthrone are in administration, but their website is still up. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

This from Windsor trading Standards July 2010:

"We have been advised by Swimbikerun Limited's Company Director that they are now in administration. The administrators, who are now running the company, are called RSM Tenon. We do not know at this stage whether the company is going to be put through liquidation, receivership or insolvency - it is in administration which keeps it trading as a going concern to see if the business can survive. Unfortunately, this means that we cannot continue our investigation under the Enterprise Act 2002 against them. It also means that small claims actions cannot be taken against the company while it is in administration."

I tried to buy shoes from this crowd be warned they are absolute rubbish. The shoes we due on a five day delivery after 10 working days still not arrived after e-mail and calls which were not answered. After 2 weeks finally spoked to someone and requested my money back. They said it would be in my account in the next couple of days still no money after two weeks. Finally went to my back so they could recall my money. DO NOT USE THEM THEY ARE NO BETTER THAN THIEVES.I only gave one star as I had to else I would prefer to give nothing.

I placed an order; an XTR rear mech costing £140 before Christmas and I am still waiting. After contacting them by e-mail, they said "waiting on stock" however is shows in stock on their website. Now, on the site if you click on 'my account' or 'contact us', the link is broken (pretty sure it is deliberate) and it just takes you back to the home page. I have tried ringing several times and no one answers.

What a terrible company to deal with, I placed my order on 11th March and it is still ongoing nearly a month on. They sent me an incorrect item on 15th which I promptly returned on 17th after two days of trying to contact them, they promised to refund my postage costs but I am still waiting for that. I then instructed them to cancel my order twice after not hearing from them for a week. They proceeded to send me another incorrect item on 24th March and now they are totally ignoring my emails. I have just reported them to the trading standards. They are not reachable on the phone, you have to email them but they mostly do not answer back. If you do decide to ring one of their shops, you will not get any help there either. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM!!!!!

Does anyone have a telephone number for these charlatans?

I order some gear in Jan and am still waiting for it, and they have charged my credit card the thieving b*strds.

I've emailed them for a response and haven't heard anything at all.

Their webshite seems to be down so I can't even get an address either to send someone local in to retrieve goods to the same value.

Ordered in early December as they stated they could get one for early January. Repeatedly missed all promised delivery dates - could never get them on the phone & email responses very haphazard. Final email came late on Thursday 1 April to say they were going into administration. So straight onto credit card company!! Terrible experience

Do not buy anything from this retailer, news on the circuit is that they are bankrupt !

Ditto all the following comments this company operates illegally in taking my money for goods not delivered, an absolute shower, this fraudulent company should be shut down. I will also report to trading standards and my credit card company. I will also post warnings with the various cycling bodies.

This company should not be trading therefore no Stars should be awarded.

Ordered parts 2 weeks before I needed them to repair a friends bike. They never turned up, I can't get through to them on the phone and they have failed to respond to any emails!

A complete lack of service in every respect, I'm going to the store next time I'm in the area and have a word or three.

Avoid this company at all costs and use someone reputable like Chain reaction or Wiggle.

sadly I've been conned as many of the guys here. Next time, I know what I have to do before I buy something on line, check review sites like this one. They must be making millions stealing people money. I feel like going to their shop in Windsor and take what is mine!!
