I ordered a few things from this company and whilst the items in stock came as promised and were of good quality one of these items was a preorder of a bjj gi. This preorder was made in July 2012 with predicted release December 2012, due to no direct fault of their own in march the order had to be completely cancelled due problems with the manufacturer. HOWEVER under distance retail law if an order is cancelled by a retailer they are obligated to give you a refund within 30 days via the original payment method. This has no happened even after repeated requests the best they have offered is a credit voucher towards another product however the preorder was a special price of £40 which was the reason i decided it was worth it, the new product which they offer a credit voucher towards is £120 which means it would cost me an extra £80 in order to get something similar to my original order. Since march I have had repeated contact with them and they either ignore the request or refuse it, i have contacted citizens advice who gave me a full section of law and told me to contact them stating it which i did, this was also ignored. citizens advice sent this case to trading standards who although they may give the company trouble if they ever get around to it wont get me my money back. So now I'm in a situation where i basically have to hope that they decided to for fill the original preorder and make the product with a new manufacturer, or take them to court which would cost me more then the product. so i'm now out £40 which doesn't like a lot but i earn well below the poverty line and it can be the difference between eating for a week or not.writing this review on the 5/7/2013 approximately 120days since the order was cancelled 4 times the legal accepted time for them to issue the refund with no promise of anything.

Bought some fitness and training gear, very easy website to navigate, and well laid out. Prices were competitive, and postage costs very very reasonable. Checkout process dead easy, and very secure. I did ask a few questions before the purchase, and the staff were brilliant, polite and knowledgeable. Delivery arrived within 4 days of placing the order. All in all, highly recommended.

What a refreshing change to find a professional looking site with such a great selection of equipment! I managed to get everything I needed from Black Eagle, and as I paid over £100, they even delivered the order for free! In fact, their flat rate shipping is only £4.90, which is one of the cheapest I could find. They had everything I needed, so no need to buy from 2 or 3 different online shops, which made it much more convenient for me, and I am sure it would for others. No hesitation in recommending this site to friends and family. Information is easy to find as well, with delivery and returns policy clearly explained. I bought a Karate Gi, some sparring gear, a bag and belt, plus a couple of t shirts.

The site is easy to use, and well thought out, with a huge range of stuff available! I often find I have to buy from two or three suppliers, but now I can get everything from one online shop. The quality of the products ordered were excellent, well packaged, and paperwork was simple, an invoice clearly detailing my order and costs was also provided.

The only thing not totally clear is the delivery costs, but on checking out I was amazed that it was only £3.95!! There is also an option to pay a little extra for priority delivery. However, I did find they had stated the flat delivery costs on the front page!!

I purchased a Karate Suit, mitts and some training gear, and would have not hesitation in recommending this online store to any of my friends, family or club members!
