Twice in the last three days, I placed orders , that were initially accepted and then cancelled saying that the order cannot be fulfilled. The website still showed the products available after the cancellation. Both times the products were listed with the increased price after the cancellation - meaning that the order was cancelled because of the price increase. Apart from inconvenience, the product got sold out on other websites during the 2 days, as all the gyms got closed due to the corona virus, leading to an increased demand.

I have always found them quick to deliver. I finally had an issue with a faulty hockey stick that broke after little use, and they were entirely unhelpful and refused to offer any return or replacement. Be careful when buying from them!

Horrid customer service. I must have emailed them over 10 times and never received a reply. When I phoned up and left a message I never received a call back either. Eventually the shoes showed up. Price was brilliant, one of the cheapest in the UK. I doubt I would use again, as they seem to be the kind of company that when something goes well it works, however as soon as there is a problem - they don't want to know about it.

I shopped with barrington sports as a one off, and was really impressed with the service. A good easy to navigate website was backed up by fantastic customer care, and quick delivery. Overall, their service was reliable, secure and customer friendly.

I have been a customer of Barrington Sports for over a decade now and to put it simply, I believe that they are one of the few online sports shops in the UK that seem to have got it right: an easy to navigate site, good quality product images, detailed descriptions and for products which need a little more info, size and technical guides to make your decision easier. In addition to their excellent website, in my 13 year experience they have always had the customer service to back it up. Even on the odd occasion where the item I've ordered hasn't been available they've always got in touch to let me know and try to make alternative arrangements.

For many years Barrington Sports has been supplying mail order throughout the UK (and beyond for all I know). 20 years ago I was with a club in Surrey who did an annual order from Barringtons, because they were the best then. They still are. You can go to their small industrial estate shop in Knutsford Cheshire and try the demo sticks, and maybe pick up a clearance bargain. Or just order online. Clear pictures and descriptions. Easy to navigate. And they only charge your credit card when they're ready to send. Their site shows customer reviews. I've put a couple of reviews in for items that I've bought, only the most favourable review made it onto the website (the cheap cheap gum-shields really are not worth it), but I'd do the same in their position. Because I live close enough, I usually go in person for anything expensive, but for the odd small purchase I just order online.
