I regularly use shopping comparison sites to research products online. PriceMe in Australia is relatively new, but it has been around in New Zealand for a couple of years.
I'm looking to buy a new Canon SLR camera, and tried my luck searching on PriceMe. The Canon 450D is a high performing camera, and I got one for around $700 AUD from one of the suppliers listed on the site. The product was delivered fairly quickly, and the check out process was smooth.
Pros:
Searching and filtering for cameras on PriceMe was smooth, and it was straightforward to find what I wanted. The site is quite fast and important information is presented in a user friendly way.
Cons:
Limited number of suppliers compared to some other shopping comparison sites in Australia. The web design also strikes me as fairly unprofessional.
