I was told by the advisor on the live chat that the calf circumference was a big size but when the 2 boots arrived they were very small. I sent a message to them and they didn't even apologise when they replied back. Never buying from them again as they are only interested in a sale and not pleasing the customer. I felt so let down.

The assistant manager of the Overgate Dundee either needs to be sent on a customer service course (but doubt if it would work) or sacked. Her attitude is a disgrace. While trying to return a faulty pair of shoes she quite openly mimicked me and laughed in my face in front of the whole shop. How rude! I will never be back. Word of mouth is a very powerful thing. I will certainly be telling everyone to avoid this place as long as she's manager.

Went to their White Rose Leeds store last Thursday specially to get some riding boots I had seen on their website. I could not decide between the size 6 or the size 7. They were so helpful - I must have been in the shop for half an hour. They let me walk about the shop with a 6 on my right foot and the 7 on my left. I finally went for the 7 - because I will probably wear socks with them in the winter. They even made hubby a cup of coffee, as he was getting quite bored - that's men for you!

This shop is brilliant! Shoes at great cheap prices which people like me can go and treat myself on friday afternoon (pay day). Really good looking shoes for going out, and everyday! Certainly will be going back! X

Last week i was shopping in Edinburgh Garage Shoes and saw bootpromo £1!!!! amazing deal two pair of boots for price of one!!!! Customer service was much better in some other shoe shops. Everyone was so nice. Really recomend to my friends and family.

I went to the White Rose shop today and 4 members of staff were stood round gossiping. I felt kind of intimidated as the shop was silent and as i stood with a shoe i knew i was an inconvenience as out of 4 none of them really wanted to go get it. It was half an hour from closing.. The person serving on the till was the most awful rudest woman av come across!! Even when i tried to make a joke about the dust on my shoes that i had touched to break the ice she actually looked at me as if i had said her baby is ugly. As i was leaving she cosied next to a colleague to say something about me as they both looked over. Am not paranoid and neither do i think the world owes me a favour but that person needs to learn some manners. People like her are the worst kind of people for retail and should never mix with people. She would be better suited in a vets or a farm....

If you are a bit small (like me!) get the wedge sports hi- top trainers from Garage. They look like you are wearing a flat trainer hi- top, but inside is heel. I bought mine in Glasgow in a mushroom colour- but they have a large choice of colours. The price is friendly too at £30.

The staff are friendly and helpful.

The customer service in Garage shoes is terrible. The staff are rude and unfriendly, especially in the Whiterose store. I will not be going there again.

Hi - I bought a pair of fantastic wedges at Garage Shoes Birmingham on Saturday. Went to a party in Manchester - stayed over at my friends place from uni. She loved them. I didnt know there was a Garage in Manchester, She loved my wedges and we went on Sunday and got same ones for her in coral from Manchester.

Well recommended.

i would like to say the customer service was totally shocking! i order some shoes the broke so took them back on a wednesday meant to get them on a friday and didnt got them 2 weeks later! i would not recomenned friend or family after what i went thought! and have to go and buy new shoes becuase they didnt come on the friday!
