Terrible Company

This company has a bizarre approach to selling its merchandise. You have to trawl through the blue print to realise there are also excise charges on top of the extortionate postage fees. I am currently trying to cancel my order but there is no telephone number or record of the correspondance when I contact them. They have yet to respond to my queries, even though they seemed to have taken the money from my account in super quick time. Shoddy service and fake reviews. Be warned.

Espadrille Store Does Not Stand Behind Their Product

A shoemaker will surely be able to repair them and they will be good as new.

Like you I live in Canada - we did not have sandal weather until several months after I purchased the shoes. I would also suggest that, like me, you don't spend a whole season in one pair of shoes. However, as I clearly cannot trust your product, I'm not sure why I would throw good money after bad to purchase another pair.

I will, however, take pleasure in publishing this email trail as a review of your product and service standards.

Poor Quality Espadrilles

I ordered three pairs of espadrilles before I realized that they were not returnable for a refund of my purchase price. The quality is cheap and the fit is terrible. I have another pair of espadrilles that I measured the soles together and the espadrille store shoes are at least one inch smaller in the same size. I would never recommend this store. I wanted to send my shoes back but the postage cost as much as the shoes because I had to send to Canada.

Terrible experience! Buyer beware before you purchase. The pictures on the website are much nicer than the actual product. I wish that I had read the reviews before I bought three pairs of espadrilles.

Four Pairs And Counting

I don't know what everyone is complaining. Maybe the people complaining are used to cheap man made materials with the natural fibers glued on to sides of the soles. The shows are very comple and comfortable. The flat Sofia's are amazing and are so comfortable now theough my last months of pregnancy. I get so many compliments on them too. My girls have the matching shoes. I'm now waiting on the ballerina style.

Be Very Careful

Just got 2 pairs in the mail and am extremely dissatisfied with their material and build quality. They are uncomfortable to wear as theyve been sewn very poorly and the store doesnt offer refunds, only store credit as someone else has mentioned before... I feel as if the people writing all the good reviews arent genuine customers of these products because theyre all written in the same tone and heavily over rate them. Anyway... I wish I had saved my money

Shoes Too Small And Narrow, Offers No Refunds

I ordered two pairs of shoes. Both are too short and too narrow. The back is sewn a little too far in which forces my toe to go over the edge. I can return them, but only for store credit> I do not want more shoes that I can't wear.

Above And Beyond Customer Service

I recently bought 3 pairs of the flat espadrilles and I absolutely love them. Espadrilles is what I have mainly been wearing this summer and it's the best footwear for day to day casual use. And I would never compromise the quality of these traditionally made espadrilles over cheap knock offs. The difference in quality is clear.

There was a small mistake with my shipment and the staff at the Espadrille Store were amazing! Swiftly fixed the problem and sent me a return envelop so I could exchange my shoes for the correct model, at their expense. Thank you again!

The shipments were timely and arrived a day before what I had been told in my confirmation email.

Knowing now how excellent the customer service is, I will come back to The Espadrille Store for future purchases.

Happy Feet!

I am barefoot a lot and have wide feet. I needed comfy shoes for a wedding so ordered "Carmen" espadrilles. They are so soft and comfortable immediately out of the mailer! The multi-colored stripe contains the exact red of my new dress. I can't wait to wear them, not just for that occasion, but every time I need to feel dressed up (I am not a modern high-heel kind of gal.) Excellent product and excellent service.
