I tried to order some boots from Aldo online. I entered my card details - they said they were incorrect - I entered them again several times - then they said my card was invalid. The next morning my bank phoned to say Aldo had taken £153 from my account twelve times. I e-mailed them for two days - they replied at 5 p.m. on the second day. They did eventually pay my money back - but only after I sent many e-mails. They then said they had blocked my card and if I still wanted to order the boots I would have to order by phone. Good news - free call (UK 0800 number). Bad news - they did not answer when I phoned. I left messages for two days - but I never received a reply. Now I hear that their footwear is very uncomfortable - so I am glad.
