Mobile Sure - As a gadget-junkie (and someone who likes to change their mobile phone as often as their clothes - well almost), mobilesure.co.uk is just what I'm looking for. I find the website very easy to use and the information they provide is pretty comprehensive. Having been offered frequent upgrades by my network, I always like to shop around first to check I'm getting exactly what's right for me. What's most impressive about mobilesure.co.uk is the time-saving element - no more scouring the search engine lists for 'mobile phone deals' only to be presented with millions of results and the obvious headache that follows.

The website claims to compare the whole of the market. Not being one to fall for a good sales pitch, I did a little searching to find out exactly what, and who they compare. By checking the 'About' page, mobilesure.co.uk actually does appear to search all the usual aspects - I noted around 25 of the top uk retailers and suppliers and all of the major networks are included.

From the front page, you are presented with a summary of the most popular contract and PAYG deals in the last 24 hours. From a dropdown list, you can choose a particular handset (if you already know which one you want) from a comprehensive list - there appears to be a couple of hundred phones listed and all are the latest models. Or, you can search via the tabs along the top of the page - these allow for all contract types, including PAYG and SIM-only deals. A visit to the Latest Phones page allows you to narrow your search further by selecting the particular features you require, such as Bluetooth, FM Radio, 3G, Music Phone etc. - a very nice touch!

Once you've found a handset that suits, you click-through to the deals page where you will find a good summary of the phone's features and a larger image. Underneath the phone summary, a table lists all the best deals available for that particular phone. It's clear and deals are very easy to compare - text and talk-time allowances, phone price, contract term and monthly charges etc. However, I particularly like the fact that you can fine-tune results via ten selectable preferences at the top of the page. For example, you may wish to restrict your search to deals that allow 250 minutes of talk-time or more etc.

Having said all that, I do have one small gripe with this site... being a stats buff, I would like to see more specifics such as battery life against the individual phone models. The website does provide a great summary of each phone including all of the major features, but I like to know every little detail before I buy anything. Of course, the detailed statistics can be found on the manufactures page by clicking on any individual deal. So not a show-stopper as such, but room for a slight improvement perhaps.

In short, this site will find you a phone, with the right deal to match, in a fraction of the time. Having endured the headaches, searching countless different suppliers in the past, I'd be happy to make mobilesure.co.uk my first port of call from now on.
